Why do you think you were banned: I was banned due to my own negligence performing a trade with Wade on my dimi character whilst actively being in a group with him on my other character “David Romanov”, I purchased a car off Wade wanting it for my dimitri character. The next day Wade transferred David 300k or so for an order at AE which was supposed to be paid back as a loan. I understand now that this does fit the rule break no matter how I try and show it as a mistake, it’s still a rule break and I understand why I was banned.
Why should we unban you: I was banned due to my own negligence and I should have known better than to associate myself in a sale so closely related to my other character, I can truly say this has been experience for all parties involved and I hope we can move past this mistake I have made and continue to create some stories within the city. Despite it happening due to carelessness I understand that what I did was a rule-break regardless of how I tried to explain myself in the ticket that was created towards the ban. I understand that intentional or not, money was transferred between characters and that resulted in my ban and I hope this appeal can show that I have acknowledged my mistake and hope to move forward into the new year and create some new and exciting stories going forward.


During my time away, I have reflected on the situation and realized I missed out on quality events and rp during the duration of my ban including purge and Christmas and quite frankly I’m upset at myself for the stupidity of the whole situation causing me to get banned, I hope this can be seen as a “motivator” not to make the same mistake twice and I can assure you I will be extremely careful going forward to ensure that this never happens again.

You may be asking how I plan on staying true to my word and not repeating the same mistakes, and the only real answer I can give is If my appeal is accepted, I will avoid roleplay that may contain transactions with people I may know or associate with on other characters.

I strongly believe that I have the ability to create high quality roleplay within the city whether its criminal life or police life and I think many others will agree with both Dimitri and Ace keen have been built on creating stories and extended roleplay. The only aspect of roleplay I haven’t explored on RPUK is the civilian lifestyle and that would be something I would be interested in trying in the future.

Hello there @Ace Keen / Dimitri , I hope you are doing well and had nice holidays!

Now, there is a couple things that Jessie has already pointed out in one of your other appeals, that I am quite curious about as well.

Taking full accountability looks quite different from how you presented yourself in the initial ticket, would you not say so? Why did you state that staff wanted to ban you for days?

How come you keep telling us that you understand our POV, but up until now all you did was debate and argue against it? What has changed now compared to the appeals and the ticket beforehand?

And just to make it very clear - I would like honesty here, not you trying to butter me up.

Hi sammy, Thanks for the quick reply hope you had a happy new year.

The Reason why i was so salty in the ticket was because that specific staff member had pulled me aside twice before in the previous days and had a go at me for stuff i didnt even have control over and i hope you can understand that after 3 interactions with the same staff member within 3 days i felt like i was being singled out at the time.

I apreciate that you dont want me buttering you up because honestly, i dont like that whole culture of "ass licking to get unbanned"

To be quite frank and honest, a part of me still doesnt truely believe what i did was terribly wrong, i paid fair market value for a car that i had spent days trying to get and i had 0 malicious intent in doing so, If you have seen my first ticket it has multiple points of evidence with timestamps. Now The other part of me understands how it looks from an outside view which is why i have come to accept liability in what happened. (I can assure you it will not happen again as i will be a lot more careful who i do trades/deals with and i plan to kill off my cblock character, its caused me enough hassle).

What has changed now is the fact that some time has now passed and i want to return to the server as it was a lot of fun and the im missing out because of such a stupid error.

In all honestly the whole topic of my ban coulda been avoided if i had not had such a shitty week coming up to the day i was banned, i do believe my attitutde in the ticket is more of the reason i got banned as oposed to what i actualy did. This is obviously a me problem but i thought id express acknowledgement for it.

I know you arent gona like my response but i hope you can understand that im not gona sit here and bullshit for an unban but i do acknowledge it was wrong even if i dont 100% agree with it

Now, I do understand how this can be frustrating from a player POV but don´t you think you would have other options than throwing a bit of a fit in the ticket with staff and that it would have probably brought you further?

All I want is accountability, honesty and effort. I appreciate that you don´t fully agree and that is fine with me, as long as you can see the other side of the coin and understand why things turned out the way they did. So what will you do different in your encounters with Staff in future, should I decide to give you another chance? How will you go about trading assets?

In response to the first point, i think it was jessie that pointed out that if i felt i was being targeted i shoulda just stuck up a ticket to speak about it before it got to where it got which woulda probably been a smarter move but i guess you live and you learn. I got heated with everything else that was going around and it just ended up exploding at the wrong time which was not ideal or fair to the people in the ticket i can admit.

on your second point, i apreciate that, i hope not to have any ticket encounters in the future however if i do get dragged into a situation i will take it a lot slower, understanding the situatuion before jumping in to conclusions and thinking before i speak. In terms of trading assets, it was not intentional but ill be a lot more carefull who i trade with and when. idealy avoiding people who i know from two seperate characters just to be on the safe side

Now here is the thing - If I was to unban you, a full wipe of all your assets. You get to keep your character stories but that´s really it - you would have to start fresh.

How can I be sure that would not lead you to do similar things again to recoup some of those assets?

Hi again sammy, i did assume a full wipe of my assets was going to be a thing which i do think is a bit harsh considering i spent stupid ungodly hours to build the networth of close to 50mil i have on my dimitri character which you yourself have interacted with i guess all i can say what happened wont happen again, id like to think ive got enough connections to get back on my feet relatively quick. I do intend to delete the character which caused the problems in the first place and return to dimitri and carry on with him so that should eliminate any fear of cross character. I dont really know if there is anything else that i can say to reassure apart from i wont do it again
