Why do you think you were banned: I got banned for buying ingame money with IRL currency
Why should we unban you: I’m making this appeal because I respect this server and I know your job is to protect it, and I completely agree with the rules you have in place. I'm not gonna make excuses, because what I did was a direct violation of the trust you put in players like me. I’m saying this as someone who truly sees this community as my online home.

The reason I’ve ended up here here is because I made a really impulsive and shortsighted decision. It’s been a little over a month since my ban. but I’ve been self reflecting about my stupid action ever since the day it happened. which was around 7 months ago. I promised myself right away that I would never do it again.

I bought ingame money with IRL currency. In the moment, I got frustrated. I felt stuck with my money, my house, and my cars, and I let that feeling “cloud” my judgment which made me impatient and I’ve hated myself for it ever since. I know there are many ways to make money, and I know it can be tiring. But that’s no excuse. that’s simply the truth as to why I failed. I did it because I was impatient, and I regret that heavily. But even worse was that when I finally did get the unworked money, it didn’t really feel inspiring as it wasn’t worked for. There was no inspiration, no hard work, no feelings of success and no character growth. It was what led me to realize that at the end of the day all of the fun is the journey to get to the money, rather than simply getting it within a second
What makes this even worse is that I've always tried to be a good member of this community. For 2 years, I've followed the rules and tried to provide good roleplay. I've always opened tickets with staff members to ask questions if I’m unsure about any rulebreaks. That's why breaking the trust is the thing that bothers me the most. It went completely against the player I’ve been for 2 years

This ban has been a serious wake up call. It made me realize that taking shortcuts ruins the experience for myself and disrespects everyone else who puts in the effort. If I were given a second chance, I would firstly prioritize paying my friend back 2m that he had borrowed as gang fund to buy the gang some armour which I was holding in my car when I got banned. I would also probably take a step back from the gang life, maybe try and find a unique way of making money legit, I want to come back with a fresh mindset. I'd be motivated to earn everything legit, and if you give me a second chance, I would like to potentially make an NHS character to contribute to the server a bit more as I think there’s not enough NHS characters at the moment and I know the server needs more dedicated players in roles like that. I'd be stepping away from the gang life to focus on building a character the right way.

I know you have to be thinking "how can we be sure this won't happen again?" What i can say is that I've learned a hard lesson about what really matters. It's not about having the most money it's about being part of a community and creating stories with other people. I've already proven in the past that I'm willing to reach out to staff when I'm unsure about things, and I promise you I will continue to do that ten times over now. I'd rather ask a "stupid question" in a ticket than ever make a mistake like this again.

I hope I can get a second chance as I’m ready to prove that the person who made that mistake isn’t who I’ll be from now on. You can monitor me how closely you want and I promise you wont see a rulebreak.

Unfortunately, you are not being completely honest with us. Aside the RMT there is more to this ban than you're letting on.

Since you say aside for the RMT there is more to this ban I am assuming you are indicating that I am also banned for cheating? I want to be completely transparent, so I will go through a few incidents that I think might have led to this confusion.


First, I have gotten some weird comments and dms from people lately. I was actually added to a group chat on Discord not too long ago, where I was informed that ”Marabunta” is allegedly saying that I was "raging it down on RPUK," which is quite funny actually because I get little-to no kills (Sometimes average.) most of the shootouts I get into.


I have also been informed that there is a player that is currently permanently banned from rpuk that has asked/asking people for evidence against people in rpuk to get them banned so that got me thinking if I was one of them? Now the ticket I had open regarding my ban, It got closed down with something similar to "Your ban isn't issued without the correct evidence and I have seen the evidence and i think the ban is indeed correct" so let me now tell you what evidence I believe could've gotten me banned for cheating ( if that’s what you are indicating ) which it seems to be according to your reply.


Firstly, I have multiple times sat in vc’s with friends and joked about me cheating. The reason this joke was funny to me is because I don't have the skillset to be even accused of cheating . It's an ironic exaggeration. The normal reaction I get is "Yeah, we know you're not cheating fuck off haha" because everyone knows how I do not get any “out of the ordinary” kills . I find pointing out that absurdity funny.

Secondly, this is outside of RPUK so it technically shouldn’t matter at all, but I think it's relevant to the confusion. I was once in a random pvp lobby with the same banned player I mentioned earlier who was cheating to the max. I'm talking shooting through walls etc etc. While he was nearly spawn killing me I still managed to kill him a few times. Which it might have made me look suspicious too since I was playing against a blatant cheater? If you have any other situations you’d like me to adress that i can not recall right now, feel free as I’d like to help in any way I can.


I want to be very clear, I have never used any cheats or game modifications. What I have used is crosshair x, soundpack for guns, reshade , And VisualV I think. This shouldn’t be classed as an ilegal client? Why would I waste 2 years of good history on this server by cheating? I've had many plans for my characters lately and have no reason to cheat as I've never had a win mentality, hence why I’ve never been banned before. I am genuinely confused if this is what I've been banned for. I am telling you the absolute truth. I have not cheated. I hope this clears things up, I don’t know what else to say , just genuinely confused. I'm happy to answer any other questions you have.
