Ban Reason: G2.9 - Transfering money or items between own characters
Why do you think you were banned: I dropped a gun on ex gruppe6 character and then logged in on another character and picked it up, I was banned less than an hour later
Why should we unban you: It has been a long time, I've had plenty of time to sit on it and hear about how much fun friends were playing whilst I was missing out, that itself is a huge incentive to not break rules again in the future.
I had multiple characters with various jobs including NHS, Police, G6 & gang life, I invested a lot of time into the server including training other players whilst an RTO in the NHS and taking probationers on patrol whilst in the police, I would like to think that I had a net positive influence on the server during the time I was lucky enough to play.
I am genuinely sorry, I was and am embarrassed in front of friends some of which are/were staff members of this community that knew me as a staff member of another (arma 3) community who have no doubt had a change of opinion of me as a result of me being banned for being stupid and greedy, I put greed in front of my integrity and it is genuinely embarrassing, I will not let it happen again.
My roleplay skills are very good and I intend to create some unique and interesting characters for me and others to enjoy.

You missing out of fun with your friends does not fill me with confidence that you will follow the rules if you were to be given a second chance.

Walk me through the roleplay that happened, why did you break this rule?

I am well and hope the same for you.

In regards to the lack of confidence in me following the rules; I didn’t touch on it but missing out with playing with friends is not the sole reason for wanting to play on the server again. I briefly tried various other cities and no other cities that I visited had the same feeling or quality that RPUK has, this place is different and that’s partly due to the hard work that the staff put into moderating the server to ensure a safe and fair environment. This server is where and how I was introduced to FIVEM and I don’t want to play anywhere else, that’s for me atleast is a good reason to not get myself banned again by breaking rules.

In regards to the roleplay that happened, I’m afraid to say that there was no roleplay involved whatsoever, I logged onto a profile, dropped (it was over 18 months ago iirc so the details are a bit hazy) everything it had and came back on either a brand new or pre-existing poor character to collect the items.

There is no true roleplay reason as to why someone would drop their worldly possessions and walk off and then have a cousin turn up without even knowing them.

I believe I was about to delete a character and decided to try and transfer items from it as to not waste it, to summarise, it was greed not roleplay.

You were banned in early 2023, why now have you chosen to appeal?

How would you prevent this from happening again in the future?

With you having trusted positions in whitelisted factions you can see how this would raise massive alarm bells and concern.

I tried some other servers after my ban and decided they weren’t for me, after that I moved on from Fivem and played other games between then and now.
It had been a while as you mention and the desire to play again has returned, only one server ticks the boxes


Taking a while out means that I haven’t had my finger on the pulse of the everyday going’s on over the last year and a bit and I’ve refreshed myself on the rules and spoken to a few friends to be up to date for the most part.
I intend to take it easy if I get back on and ease myself back in, safe to say I’ll be behaving myself as it’s safe to say I won’t be receiving another chance if I mess this one up, I’ll be sticking to the rules!

All has been great today, just about to fly home from a holiday in NYC funnily enough, hope your day has also been great.
