To add more insight to the situation, the ticket was originally made to help with an ongoing situation where a person in the server was selling "suspiciously sourced" wads of cash to members of the city including me. I was then dragged into a ticket to help the staff of the server understand who this guy was and how he was getting the wads of cash.
Why should we unban you: I would also like to add to the appeal by saying I know I presented myself in a suspicious manner when dealing with this ticket and I understand the suspicion but it wasn't on purpose. I had no intention of ignoring the ticket (as said in the attached appeal) and I hope you can understand that and i would never intentionally put myself in a situation. As said above, the staff put me in that ticket to help out with this situation and get this guy banned but it looks like it was the same outcome on the other end and therefore I am sorry.

Thank you for this appeal, I've had a read through your last appeal, the ticket and you history in the server and it makes for terrible reading...

We will start with your ticket, you were quite happy going back and forth in the ticket initially whilst Scott was doing his first line of investigation, this went on for a good 3 days then when we told you what was going to happen, you went radio silent, now you have to see it from our POV that this starts ringing massive alarm bells for us, you have spent the last 2/3 days having a good back and forth, but as soon as a solution is explained you stop responding. During the time of your tags you were seen on the server multiple times, again with in game tags in OOC chat to prompt you to take a look, but this was all in vein.

Now the thing I find most interesting is that once a more harsh solution was given, namely this ban and the wipe of your bank account it took you less than 60 seconds to respond in the ticket, not only that but once you realised it was to stay, you got defensive.

Now you say that the RPUK server is towards the bottom of your server list and you struggle to keep up with pings but you knew you had an active ticket within the server, why didn't you check on it and how can we be sure that this is not repeated in the future if you have a ticket open with us? I'm by no means asking you to change the order of your server list.

I've also taken a look at your previous record which will play a part in this unban also, with 5 previous bans and 11 notes/warnings, you have been extremely lucky not to have the door closed on you at all.

Now although I have just spoken quite a bit in this reply, I'd like you to read through it and reply to a few of the points made above.

I appreciate the response to my appeal so soon and I would like to start with your first paragraph:

yes you were right I did stop responding 2-3 days before I received my ban this wasn't a deliberate action I was stressed out from work and I just wanted to come home and chill and play with my mates on the server. I wasn't paying much attention to the discord and anything in general as I was just trying to have a good time with my mates. Again I understand the severity of the situation and the suspicion of me not responding during this period. Although I'm not using this as an excuse as this was my own fault all I can do is apologise, Therefore I'm sorry for that.

Secondly, I understand how you might find this interesting that I responded to the ticket so rapidly after I was banned this was because I was obviously on the server having a good time with my mates and then when I received this ban I realised I hadn't responded to the ticket and went to see if it was to do with that as I had no other idea why I would be banned for C1.7 common sense. So that is why I responded so quickly and I got defensive because, from my point of view, I had done nothing wrong at that moment in time from what I was telling myself but after a bit I realised how it looked from a staff members point of view. And i was obviously frustrated at the time when i was told i was going to have my bank account wiped because I had put a lot of hard work into to getting that money to where it was at that point obviously I understand the money that was gained from who I believe to be a exploiter being removed and if I had saw the msg where it was originally said that was going to be removed I would of 100% been on board with that.

Now on to your next point you are correct in stating that my RPUK discord is towards the bottom of my server list. Like I said above from the beginning of the week to the Wednesday I was banned I was stressed from work and I just wanted to relax when I got home and wasnt thinking about all these different details like the ticket I was involved in and I apologise for that. But from now on I am going to make sure I check tickets no matter what as I now realise how important it is to respond to tickets and I will learn from my mistakes this isn't another excuse but I rarely see myself in tickets on the server so it isn't a second nature to check it.

Last but not least I would just like to thank you again for taking this appeal on with the account of the previous 5 bans and 11 notes/warnings. I also understand how lucky I am to be given an opportunity to have this appeal still up on the forums. This is my first and last C1.7 ban so I apologise again for wasting staff time and resources on something so minuscule that could have easily been resolved if I had just paid attention again I couldn't apologise for more than I have done so far in this appeal and I hope I will be given another chance to prove that I am I here to provide high-quality roleplay and make sure everyone has a great time in this wonderful community that you so graciously help up keep to such a high standard.
