Ban Reason: C1.10
Why do you think you were banned: I think I was originally banned for stealing from other players boots without providing any roleplay. After feedback from staff and some personal reflection, I have then come to understand that my ban comes from repetitive actions where the standards of my roleplay haven't met the standards of RPUK. I feel like the ban was not only from one or two situations, but rather a repetitive pattern of lack of RP and trolling behavior.
Why should we unban you: After some distance and time to think about my actions and staff's feedback, I have gotten a better understanding of my ban. As said in my last appeal, I now feel like my past appeals were referring to one certain situation and me "explaining myself", instead of taking accountability to my actions and view it from a broader perspective. Im coming forward with this appeal with a different mindset, where I understand why I lost the staffs trust and focus on rebuilding it instead of just asking for forgiveness.
After deeply reviewing my history on RPUK and the feedback from staff and other players, I do understand that my ban wasn't just from one rulebreak. During my time on RPUK I have gotten a lot of warnings, kicks and bans. The collection of my punishments clearly shows a pattern of lack of roleplay, attitude and behavior that is not acceptable on RPUK. I will say that I have had multiple good roleplay situations with other people and groups during my 4 years on the server. I have come to realize that it was never my ability to roleplay, but rather my attitude and lack of consistency in roleplay during my time on the server. My actions have led to more work for staff, created bad experiences for players in the community and broken the trust in the relationship with staff and community, and I truly understand why I was banned.
When I was on the server, I have realised that I often did my actions without considering the impact it could have on other players. The way I was acting towards other players went against the rules and principle of fair roleplay. I feel like staff had to keep an eye on me to make sure I was roleplaying and behaving up to expectations. I realised that I took my time on RPUK for granted and didn't realise it before I lost access to the server.
If I was to be unbanned I would live up to the RPUK expectations of roleplay and try my best to be a good example for others. I want to create fun for other players, rather than giving them a bad experience. My main priority would be to prioritize the roleplay. over personal gain. I miss the good roleplay situations I have had in the past and would love to experience more. If I ever feel like im not in the right mood or mindset to play the server, I would rather log off and take a break, than to let it affect other people enjoying their time playing. If I was to get the opportunity to play the server again, I would treat it as a last chance as I have had a bad reputation and history up to now and would like to convince the staff team that I can live up to the RPUK standards.
Why should I be unbanned?
The reasoning for my appeal is not me saying that I feel like I deserve to be unbanned. Im appealing because I would like the opportunity to show that I can be a good member for RPUK. I want to prove to the community that I can be a good member and a positive addition to the community. I understand the risk of unbanning someone with my history, but im ready to prove through my behavior and roleplay that I can uphold the RPUK standards and contribute positively to the community. I understand that I can't earn back the trust with words, and im ready to take that responsibility over my actions and prove myself to everyone.
All im asking for is one last chance to prove myself to the staff and community, that I have understood the impact of my actions and that I could be a contributing member to RPUK.
