Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for breaking character separation rules which ultimately resulted in unintentional meta game/ Use of OOC information therefore resulting in a permanent ban as stated in the rules.
Why should we unban you: Please do forgive me if this appeal isn't adequate as this is my first actual offence & ban so I am not too familiar on what to include when it comes to appeal.

On that day when staff pulled me and my American friend aside to talk about the situation the was investigating, I didn't want to beat around the bush and answered their questions to the best of my knowledge, with upmost accuracy, and honesty.

After talking to the two attending staff members and understanding why they had pulled us a side I had realised that I misunderstood how character separation works which inevitably resulted to Meta Gaming as the scenario was:

(My characters gf from NP) joined and created a character on RPUK, she didn't like what she looked like, deleted and changed her face 3x. Due to G3.5 each Gemma must be seen as different character and I thought not at the time (a little confusion).

As I didn't understand at the time that this would fall under G3.5, I decided to Discord message my friends my characters' phone number to her new as at the time I thought that it wouldn't fall under G3.5 as my friend just killed off and recreated the same identity just new facial structure.

During that chat with the two attending staff they explained to me how it G3.5 works which lead to me realising that I had broken not only G3.5 but also unintentionally broke G3.1. I was calm and understanding with the staff, being straight up front and honest.

I was ready to accept what was about to happen and understood why, I love the staff & dev team and they like me a little (depending on who ig) I do hope that I get a little leeway as this wasn't as if I had Meta gamed locations, frequencies, ect.. (COULD BE ALOT WORSE) and this is my first offence while also it was done unintentional due to confusion.

Since the ban on the 2024-04-01 I have taken the time to reflect on what had happened to understand what I did to result in that ban.

Indeed, your attitude during the staff-sit was very much noted. You were calm, understanding and honest which does go a long way!

Could you please explain for us in greater detail why this £100,000 was transferred across from Gemma to your character Yogi before Gemma's character being deleted?

I thought that was cleared up on the day on the ban but that is fine, if you have access to my bank transactions it should back this statement; I took out 100k to gamble at the casino and as she was visiting the city I gave her 1/2 of that sum, I lost my 50k and she had doubled her 50k to 100k; from there on before she deleted her character to change her face, I told her to hold onto the money so if she needs to buy essentials if she was 'ever' to login when I wasn't around then she would be able to. (5hr difference time zone)

And as the ban evolved around character separation, she gave me the money back so that my money wouldn't get sent to the void as she fcked up her character creation and wasn't happy with her facial structure.

That's the only reason why the 100k was transferred back me.

The 100K isn't causing any infractions, this is however something that I wanted to clear up during the appeal, I understand now why this was transferred across.
In truth, I am surprised for such a long term player to have been passing phone numbers via Discord for a freshly created character to phone them whilst still completing the tutorial.

Could you please quote the rule broken for me, and explain in your own words why it's in place on the server and the importance of it?

As stated above, I only did that as due to not understanding the character separation rule at the time, which has now been cleared up with me during that sit <3

(G3.1) OOC Information - Using out of character information to influence the course of roleplay is considered metagaming and punishable by a ban. This includes but is not limited to: Twitch Streams, forum information and Steam messages.
Meta-gaming is essentially using OOC or OUTSIDER information gained outside of character, which is then used to gain an advantage in a scenario for example:

Scenario: Ben is hunting Joe (Joe is a streamer)

Ben has trouble with Joe is actively looking for Joe to seek out revenge on him.

*Joe is streaming on twitch and his character is currently getting food at Burgershot*
Ben notices Joe is streaming LIVE to twitch and utilizes his stream to gain the location of Joe at Burgershot and acts upon that OOC information.

This is meta-gaming as Ben did not find Joes' location within character but instead used OOC information.

G3.1 is in place to ensure that everyone has a fair and immersive experience; using outside character information will often break immersion, leading to an unfair, and not fun experience from finding someone locations through 3rd party sources other than within character, to leaked messages which could influence how conflicts are handled, it ruins the experience for the receiving party and potentially others outside your situation/scenario, which is why G3.1 is in place.

Good afternoon @BornedDauntless , thanks for the in depth response!

I believe it is clear from the conversation held on Maze Bank with staff, and from this appeal that you have indeed managed to learn a lesson from this rule break!
Since you're aware where you went wrong, I wouldn't assume we'd be seeing a repeat of this situation and in fact there will be a lot more character development in the future.

Overall, I will give you another chance on the server following this appeal. Any ban within the next 6 months will be a permanent as per the FBS.
