Why do you think you were banned: So this is my 2nd appeal, I was told to wreck my brain and try to remember as much as possible. But as much as I do I just simply can't remember a lot of the day I got banned. I will try nonetheless to tell you as much as I remember.

So I had been doing the truck job for weeks trying to save up for the imported brand cars. As soon as I had close to the amount needed I decided to take a risk and head to the casino. I remember hearing people left and right winning millions on blackjack, making big bets all the time. I thought I could do the same and lost all my money during this attempt. I had gotten mad and went into the city to look for someone willing to give me a gun so I could go and wreak havoc somewhere.
I remember finding some guys willing to give me a gun and they even gave me a target. I believe the target was an on-duty cop who also happened to be an admin.(I'm not 100% sure about this)

So after they gave me a gun and some ammo and drove me to the target, I just ran up to him and sprayed down the officer and all bystanders. This was near the big hospital in the city. (G1.2)

Now as I said in my first appeal I remember being pulled to the side immediately by an active admin, I believe a different one from the one I had shot, and didn't feel like talking to him because I was mad and out to get banned. So I told him to just ban me and don't bother talking to me. I think he did and that has been 3 years ago since I last was on the server.

As for C2.3 , I honestly don't know when I would have combat logged or have done something similar. As I recall I got banned on the spot while talking to the admin and I didn't log out while being put to the side. And I can't imagine anywhere else where I could have combat-logged. If I did, it must have been during the talk with the admin. I must have been really mad to just leave a talk with an admin but I can't imagine that I did that, but if I did, it was the dumbest thing I could've done at that point.
Why should we unban you: The ban is from 3 years ago. I've had issues back then that I have worked on in rehab. I don't want to go into detail too much about it but I'm feeling better now. I'm a happier person than back then and I have a goal in life again.
I deeply regret going on a rage and ruining the rp of my fellow gamers. I knew better and should've acted more responsible and mature.
There is no real excuse for the way I behaved but I do wish I hadn't. I really love playing on the RPUK servers even back in my Arma 3 days on Altis life and I would hate to not be able to experience this again. Of all the rp servers I like the concept of this server the best. I believe that if you decide to accept this appeal I can bring a new and improved version of myself to the server which focuses on helping others and having the best time possible with any people that cross my path.
I hope I have put enough time and effort into this appeal for you to make a considered decision regarding my ban.

Good evening, I am indeed happy to see the effort here, quite a difference from the first one!

Can you please explain further why you believe the rules you broke are important to the server?

If you were to be unbanned, what would your goals be on the server, what would you wanna do? Do you have any ideas for characters or stories etc?

What have you been up to whilst banned (I realise there was a rehab period, obviously you do not need to go in to detail there)?

PS. As you did make an honest attempt to remember, the C2.3 ban is due to you leaving directly after the killing before coming back and then speaking to staff.

The G1.2 rule is in place to ensure everyone on the server gets a fair chance to roleplay any situation given to them. Were everyone to just shoot around at random this server would be more of a deathmatch server than a roleplaying server.
As this server prioritizes quality roleplay over just getting some good frags, this rule is there to ensure said goal is met. It is also there to ensure people, like myself in this case 3 years ago, don't just go on a rampage when something doesnt go their way and thereby ruining other people their roleplay situation.(While these people have no idea as to why they are being shot at)

PS. As you did make an honest attempt to remember, the C2.3 ban is due to you leaving directly after the killing before coming back and then speaking to staff.

Thanks for this. It then most likely refers to the ragequitting part of the C2.3 rule. I can imagine past me ragequit after shooting the cop and civilians. I couldn't tell you why I would have done that. I would say, knowing myself pretty well I hope, it was just because I was mad and not because I would be trying to get away with it. Like I already said I was out to get banned so I don't think I cared at that point and just wanted to leave. I can see past me going back into the server because I might have had regret of what I did and I wanted to give an explanation or apologize but that seems not right since I just wanted to get banned. I don't know how much time there was in between the RDM and me re-logging. But I'm 100% sure I didn't think of getting away with it. It was stupid of me to do so nonetheless and I do think I went back so I could at least tell the admin why I did what I did. (Again not sure if this is the reason but it seems plausible to me)

The C2.3 Rule is there to ensure a couple of things. I will keep it short though and only explain the part of the rule that applied to this instance. You have gotten much more important business to attend to than me reciting the rules you know too well back to you in its entirety.
Ragequitting: I can see how ragequitting affects the morale of other roleplayers since it ends their Roleplaying situation in an instant. The rule is there to ensure all players can have an enjoyable time on the server indulging in roleplaying where situations happen that might not be enjoyable for all parties involved. If everyone were to ragequit at any point they felt like it, no roleplay situation would have a clear ending with a maybe less beneficial outcome for one of the parties. The situation would just be ended in an instant without closure. In my case it didn't give the admin the opportunity to investigate the situation. Although I think I remember him saying he witnessed the entire thing, I can understand why you should not do so. The parties involved should get the chance to get the issue resolved.


As for my re-entry. I've been thinking about this the past few days and I have a few ideas I would like to try out in the following steps.

1. A casual Civilian role; When I would be lucky enough to get unbanned and join back into the server for the first time, I would first like to have a look around and see what has changed. Since I've been absent for a long time I suspect there are many changes and some if not all of the contacts and information I had will be gone or invalid. So I would keep a low profile while getting to know the island and its community. My roleplay story would be that of a newcomer looking around to see if this is a city for him to live in. (It obviously will but that is where the information gathering is linking to my roleplay at that moment.

2. Criminal crimelord; As for when my information phase as a civilian is over, I've been working on a document planning my entry to the server as a crimelord trying to set up an underground emporium.(Shadow's Haven)

A small example of what I've been working on:

This is an 11-step plan to set up the business. (Ofcourse I wont be showing the entirety of my approach to realizing this goal)

I've re-read through the rules and I think I can make this happen while abiding to the server rules.

I've also written a biography for the Business already:


As for the my first character, his name shall be Silas Nightingale. (Bio also written out already)

3. Let the roleplay begin/ or change approach; This is all just an idea and I have no idea if it might actually be viable, hence the information gathering in the first phase of my re-entry. If it proves to be too difficult to get this up and running my backup plan is to go around as a regular civilian trying to get along doing jobs, helping other players out with regular day-to-day stuff until I find something I would like to engage in.

I ofcourse cannot foresee what the server has become but I'm ready to adapt and engage in multiple different roleplay scenarios outside of the ideas and plans I've already made. I can only imagine what the community is up to these days but I'm thrilled to find out and be part of it again!

I'm very happy to see that you're wanting to take the server seriously and you seem to have genuinely fun ideas, both for yourself and others.
