Why do you think you were banned: So yesterday I had a discussion on with Jessie Bennet about my roleplay quality which was quite poor at a Grove incident. I have taken the time to think about this situation during the one-day situation. However, when I have tried to log in today, I have been permanently banned. I have never received a ban before and I am not sure how it could have escalated while I was banned. I would also like to add that G2.12 G2.3 do not fall under a permanent ban.
Why should we unban you: The reason I think I should be given a second chance (to show you this was a mistake) is that I have been a member of this community since 2021, I have never shown or come across as a rule breaker or an individual to be looked at as a person with a win mentality. I have never been banned during the 4 years I have been here, the only time I have ever been warned on RPUK was when I made a stupid mistake by NVL'ing against another member of the community. Apart from that, I have contributed to the community by providing high-quality roleplay for the criminal side of the roleplay aspect. I will put my hands up and admit that when I was brought to the Maze Bank by an individual staff member, they explained to me that they were spectating and questioned me on G2.3. I thought to myself straight away, I could've done so much better in that scenario/situation. Now, thinking about it, I can see it from Grove and Staff's perspective that this is casual poor roleplay and me not roleplaying my injuries after a shootout. This is not me, I apologize for my actions and to the others who's roleplay was affected with what I did.
After the whole scenario ended with me bleeding out and saying what I did, I got pulled to Maze Bank to then have a conversation with a staff member who saw what happened and questioned me about it all. We spoke back and forth about what happened, they agreed to give me a 24-hour ban (my first ban within 4 years), which I accepted. I wasn't happy with myself about it as I am not a rulebreaker, but I took it on the chin and accepted the 24-hour ban for myself.
Today, 17/12/2025, I have gone to re-log onto the server to check how long I have left until I can re-join the server. Upon joining, I have seen that this 24-hour ban has been changed into a permanent ban. As shocked as I was to see this pop up, the first thing I did was open a ticket and questioned why a G2.12 and G2.3 (which doesn't state a PERMANENT BAN) has led me to this, seeing as I have never received a ban or been placed within the FBS (Fair Ban System). I got advised by higher staff to put an appeal in as my change to the ban wasn't a mistake and it was made by choice. I personally feel like, as a member of RPUK of 4 years with only 1-2 warnings and no ban records, I should've been given the 24-hour ban to reflect on my actions, which I have done overnight, and wish I never did. I was hoping to jump back in today and continue my roleplay story on Eduard.
I hope that whatever staff member reads or replies to my appeal takes into account that I am deeply sorry for my roleplay/actions and that I can be given that extra chance to redeem myself.
