Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for knowing that someone was ban evading and choosing to keep that information to myself. I now realise that by doing this I protected him and allowed him to continue playing while avoiding the consequences of his previous ban. I have learned my lesson from this i need to report things like this straight away no matter how i feel about it i understand the consequences of what i did and i will not make the same mistake again.
When i first got added to the ticket I lied to staff even after given so many chances to come clean which has made this a whole lot worse for myself and can only apologise for continuing to lie after being provided golden chances and sticking to being stubborn.
Looking back i should of just been honest from the start of the first ticket and avoid all of this. I made a very poor decision to lie that has now damaged the trust staff have in me. I do regret my actions and not only cause i received a ban but because i now look stupid for protecting someone who never deserved to play and lied.
Why should we unban you: Firstly i would like to apologise for my actions.
I believe i should be unbanned because while i did make a very wrong choice to keep information about a ban evader hidden i did not gain any personal benefit from him playing again. I would also like to think that i have a pretty clean record when it comes to bans/warnings which i do hope goes in favour for me.
The only reason why i kept this information to myself was purely because im not the type of person to go and tell on someone which i do now know is wrong and i will not be having this mindset going forward.
I have now came clean to staff and provided screenshots of when i was informed of him evading which i understand i should of done from the get go and not spin a web of lies.
What i have learnt is to never keep anything like this to myself ever again and come clean to staff to save myself from any punishment.
I also want to apologise for simply wasting staffs time in tickets and messages.
