Why do you think you were banned: Metagaming
Why should we unban you: I want to extend my deepest and most sincere apology for metagaming during my time on the server. I fully understand that roleplay communities like yours rely on trust, immersion, and mutual respect among all players—and by breaking those principles, I not only disrespected the rules, but also the effort and enjoyment of everyone involved.
When I engaged in metagaming, I failed to maintain the boundary between in-character and out-of-character knowledge, and that compromised the integrity of the roleplay. There’s no excuse for that. Whether it was due to impatience, poor judgment, or a lapse in discipline, I recognize now that what I did disrupted the fair and immersive environment you’ve worked so hard to create.
Since my ban, I’ve taken time to reflect on what roleplay actually means: it’s not just about playing a game—it’s about building stories, respecting character development, and fostering a creative space where everyone can contribute meaningfully. I understand that metagaming isn’t just a rule-break; it’s a breach of the trust that players and staff put into the shared world we’re part of.
If given a second chance, I will return to the server with a renewed mindset and strict commitment to the rules. Here’s how I plan to improve:
Re-educate myself fully on the server rules and roleplay standards, ensuring I never repeat this mistake again.
Approach roleplay with patience and integrity, treating every situation IC and never allowing OOC knowledge to influence my character's decisions.
Hold myself accountable and remain open to feedback from staff and other players, using it constructively.
Contribute positively to the community, both through meaningful RP and by supporting others in maintaining a respectful and immersive experience.
I know actions speak louder than words, but I hope this apology shows the depth of my regret and my willingness to do better. I truly enjoyed being part of your server, and I miss the connections, stories, and moments shared with the community. I humbly ask for your consideration in lifting the ban, and allowing me to prove that I’ve grown from this.
