Ban Reason: Combat logging & ban evasion
Why do you think you were banned: 3 years ago, I played on roleplay.co.uk and I was banned for combat logging, presumably I died and to avoid waiting for a medic I closed the game. Additionally, I played again last month or a little further back, and I was banned for ban evasion. My alternate csgo steam account was originally banned for combat logging, and years down the line I had forgot, and very simply used my steam main account to play more recently.
Why should we unban you: Firstly to address the fact that I combat logged I want to admit my own insolence, and lack of respect at that time. I think the rule of combat logging is essential, and universal to fivem. As such I should certainly have respected the rules as I agreed to do so when I first ever played. I know my offence is worthy of a permanent ban, however now, three years later; I can say with sincerity that I intend to put in high quality roleplay, my friends and brother are playing actively and I wish to join in their legal businesses on the server. They have a plan to purchase a permanent business and I would love to partake in the community they say has grown and flourished.

Also, to address my ban for ban evasion. I want to put across that I had 100 percent no intention of ban evading when I logged on using my main steam account, as anyone could agree using the main account makes the most sense. and when I was banned for ban evading a little while into playing, I was honestly shocked. I joined the team speak and had a conversation with staff who informed me I had been banned a long while back for combat logging and so i left and chose not to join for a while.

Since I have committed the offence of ban evasion I want to take full accountability for not realising I was already banned. That is considerably foolish and very unfortunate for me that I now have two offences stacked up against me. I would like to make it clear that I had no intention of evading that day when I logged on using my main steam account. I apologise for inconveniencing anyone with my first forum post.

While I appreciate the explanation of events, I am having a very hard time to believe that you did not at all remember that you were banned here initially. The fact that you have 4 different steam accounts also does not fill me with confidence, as that is something people usually do when they are up to no good in general.

Now, your ban was modified due to your brother being unable to play our server at the time as well - I reckon that was something that caused some discussions between you two at the time, no? While it was two years ago, this seems like something one would remember.

I will be honest with you here - I am not buying that you had no idea. When it comes to the original offence, that can be forgiven. Especially since it has been a long time until now - but the ban evading is something we take extremely serious here and I need you to be 100% truthful with me.

it’s a great thing to hear my offence for combat logging is a forgivable one, it’s a great relief and it’s been a bit of a long winded process to get to this stage.

I hear that 4 steam accounts is wild, and I can also see how from staffs perspective, that’s a common characteristic of ban evaders. Whilst I can convince you of my intention, I would like perhaps to provide an example of why I have alternate steam accounts. I’m sure that csgo alternates are something many of the staff team is familiar with; if I may provide an example of g2a offering games for discounted cost by purchasing a steam account with the game on it then I propose you yourself to go on g2a.com and look at a game you may know of as expensive and you will see they provide steam accounts with the game already purchased.

To me as a uni student being generally low income, it’s a massive win to be able to get a game way cheaper.

Again however, I can not convince you that my intentions were never to ban evade and I made a lapse in judgement by forgetting to act with due diligence when it comes to rp.uk

If I may propose that perhaps it is seen from a forgiving point of view where I am given the benefit of the doubt regarding my offence of ban evasion, I am very much hoping my ban may be lifted as I am very excited to rejoin a great roleplaying community and play with my brother and friends.

Finally to note you mentioning a discussion between staff and my brother, we don’t live together and as such I’m out of the loop; I dont know the conversation you are referring to. As much as I would like to be able to give helpful commentary myself.
