Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for breaking NLR by continuing a storyline after my character had died and respawned, and for being involved in a situation where OOC information was used to return to a location I shouldn’t have known about. I also defended a version of events during the QE that staff found to be dishonest. On top of that, my attitude toward staff came off as disrespectful, which didn’t help the situation. I understand these actions broke server rules and created issues, and I take responsibility for that.
Why should we unban you: I believe I should be unbanned because I still strongly maintain that the metagaming accusation is false. There has been no conclusive evidence presented only assumptions and coincidences that were unfortunately interpreted in the worst possible way. I understand the suspicion, but I can't admit to something I didn’t do. I’ve always respected the integrity of RP and wouldn’t compromise that by metagaming.

That said, I do take full responsibility for the other issues in the report. I acknowledge that I didn’t value life properly in the moment, and I acted on things I shouldn’t have remembered after respawning, which breaks NLR. I also accept that if my attitude during QE came across as disrespectful, that’s on me it wasn’t my intention, but I recognize how it may have been perceived.

To the staff, I want to express empathy. I understand your role is to protect the community and keep things fair, and I respect that. If my responses during QE were seen as defensive or unhelpful, frustration got the better of me, and I can see now how I could’ve handled things differently.

I’ve been in this city since 2022, and that level of dedication says a lot. I’ve stuck with the same character through everything losing licenses, jobs, setbacks and I’ve continued to develop his story in meaningful and dynamic ways. Despite this situation, my RP has always been strong and focused on storytelling, not disruption.

Even if a full unban isn’t possible, I would still ask for the opportunity to continue this character’s journey through RP. Whether that’s serving life in prison or facing some other long-term consequence in-character, I’d rather see his story end with proper roleplay than be cut off completely. I’ve put years into this character, and I would genuinely value the chance to close that chapter in a way that fits the world we’ve helped build.

You have been banned for multiple reasons, some of which are not outlined here. But glancing over that fact, you still deny a rule break, which has been proven evidentially (albeit, some you may not be fully aware of).

You speak about having been in this community since 2022. Since your characters creation until today is 1083 days. Of which you've logged on the server for 79 of them, equating to roughly a 7% activity. I won't touch on the hours invested, but what I will touch on is your conduct during your time on the server. Historically, you have been known to abuse game mechanics and restart times. A Slipping handcuffs being one that was observed.

However, Whilst reviewing you history, I've stumbled across combat logging that has previously not been addressed. An act you haven't brought to the staff team, which I could add to your record and dismiss this appeal.

Lets move on to another facet of issues that you've brought up.

You were asked by a member of staff to be helpful, you refused. Which in itself is fine. However the manner in which you conducted yourself was so far below what is expected from a reasonable adult, that you drew the attention of multiple community members, both staff and not.

You touched on speaking as a real person and not a character. That is the part that is raising concern. Is this the sort of player we want within this community? I personally believe, not.

Staff aren't power tripping when they deal with problematic players. They are protecting the community in the way the feel is befitting.
