In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: So firstly id like to make you aware that since my ban and my previous denied appeal I have reviewed my actions and your reasoning behind denying my first appeal.
Now to describe why i think i was banned, Well i KNOW why i was banned and this was because of a combat log i admit to committing, i was convinced they were using discord in a manor to hunt down me as i had their dead friend with us. i killed a groups friend in an altercation that took place as i knew it was a clear set up due to me previously scamming their friend. I put the dead guy in my car and make multiple efforts to confirm that i was not being followed, this included stopping on roads to make sure no car was following and that i would be left alone to dump his body in the ocean, Now when pulling up to a beach as i was about to dump the body his friends pulled up and shot me. Out of pure frustration and disbelief i hit alt f4 and instantly regretted it. YES looking back on it it was stupid and i knew i messed up the second the game closed but the only thing that made me justify it at the time was "well if they can break the rules i can too" which now just is a stupid reason and is on the same level as if they jumped off a cliff would i too.
Now i was informed in my closure of my previous appeal that i was also guilty of RDMing which i ask you to provide me further detail of this and i can explain, i promise to you i never committed RDM and the accusation is most likely out of context but i will hold my hands up if i genuinely don't have a explanation.

Why should we unban you ?: Now ill start this with thank you for giving me another chance at possibly getting back into the server i know and love, i first played roleplay.co.uk over a year ago now and being unable to play makes me annoyed at myself as i ruined this amazing server for myself because of a implosive action i carried out.
In my time away from the server i genuinely don't have an excuse anymore, yes i broke a major rule of this server and the punishment given is nothing but correct. But i want to prove to you i CAN go back to the character i carried out on roleplay, having so much fun roleplaying and meeting new faces.

I'll give you the report that added the RDM ban on top of the one you are currently banned for. Have a read of the report below and explain your actions with that please and we will go from there.




 
Glad to hear back Stuart! hope your day is going well.

i played RPUK the day that the clip was taken for a decent bit of time, during that day on the server I had an altercation with the officer (Pendrew Winters) in which I felt like he was dying to try and charge me with something even though my offence was minor ( I cant remember exactly what it was just that he was trying to push big charges for a small crime), and he done so in a rude manor without any sort of discussion. this made me angry and with stress of my 4000 month sentence that was coming up I simply was not having it. I spent ages flying round in my oracle trying to find revenge and simply just injure the officer with no intention of dumping his body in a remote location. 

Even though i will still say what i done was justified and i do believe there is not enough back story to this case, looking back on the altercation i do believe that i could of made the situation a bit more fun and warned the officer that he was in danger and to not move. I just didn't consider this as due to there being no delay on taking out a weapon and that it was in a busy area in the city i wanted it done quickly and efficiently so I could make a escape uncharged.

I did spin around the block a few times to genuinely make sure he was receiving help as at the end of the day he only in my eyes disrespected me and didn't deserve to bleed out.

Finally to explain my manor of driving in the situation, after reading the rules of RPUK i know it could of been considered fail driving (driving unrealistically and swerving at the last moment) but i was simply just going fast to prevent any officer chasing me or even attempting to, yes at some point i lost control but my oracle has NOS which i was using to exceed speeds to ensure i wasn't caught and caused a few close crashes.

So going over this altercation with the charges you mentioned, When did this occur? 

In relation to the evidence from the report the driving isn't an issue, The only two rules you've broken is the one via the report and the combat logging you mentioned in the initial response to your appeal.

Sorry but i don't seem to understand your response, not being cheeky but could u please explain what u mean by " what did this occur" .

my only assumption to what this may mean is "when did this occur" and the report on me about the RDM was made on the same day the incident occurred i am pretty sure.

Indeed this is what I ment, Typo on my part so apologies for that. Based on what was said on the report indeed there does seem to be in a roundabout way some reason this happened, However lets say that the report did take place 4-5 hours prior to this. Would it not be reasonable to expect something to be said prior to attacking in this case Pendrew? 

 
Of course , although my actions in my eyes don't count as an RDM i will say that it would of 100% been reasonable to say something prior to the attack on him which would of made the RP scene alot more understandable to the officer and at the same time a more fun situation instead of me just running up getting my revenge and running away.

so for back story i was a scammer in the city, making fake sale offers on tweedle, getting sent the money and not responding to them. i scammed a guy with gang friends ( these "gang friends" are the ones that caused me to combat log. 

I scammed a guy for i think over 100k the night before the incident and after he told me the next day when his friends were on they will hunt me down and kill me, so the next day when i got on it was no surprise that one of the friends of the scamming victim sent me a message interested in buying my car (Oracle for 1 million quid) this convo was clearly a set up with minor discussion and i also recognized the number from previous scams. the discussion concluded with us arranging a place to meet but due to me knowing i was being set up i decided to take action while i had the chance to.

He was sat alone and sent me GPS, once arriving i instantly rammed him killing him in the process. i called my boy over and we quickly put his body in our car and drove off in a direction opposite to the beach we had in mind to stop anyone following, meanwhile the injured man in the back kept going quiet for some reason, yes he was injured and carried out some roleplay but we could clearly tell something weird was going on and my friend made a comment something along the lines of " u alright back there mate voices in ur head seem loud" to this he giggled. we didn't want to go off this as solid proof so we stopped many times along various roads to try and catch out any one trying to follow us but no one seemed to be following and we delayed our normally 3 min journey about 5 mins longer and no signs of anyone following.

Once we arrived at the beach by Santa Monica pier it was once again silent with no signs of anyone around us at all, we proceeded to RP with the victim and began swapping cars about to dump him. THE SECOND we put the engine on and touched the shoreline his boys arrived from no where and shot me dead. This in my mind just pulled everything together and i was 100% convinced that they were power gaming and tbh still believe this.

HOWEVER i do not in any way think my actions were appropriate and it would of been more satisfying to just carry out RP despite me thinking they broke rules and get them reported.

 
Indeed this is what you should of done as two wrongs don't make a right in any circumstance. In relation to the rules you've broken can you please quote them and in your own words explain why you believe we have such rules in place? 

 
Combat logging - leaving an RP situation at anytime without an actual excuse ( IRL emergency)

A rule like this is vital to the RP community and ensures quality and uninterrupted RP scenes and without the RP quality on RPUK would not be like the top quality it is.

RDM- Unjustified and unrealistic killing of another player that included no or minimal RP 

Once again i believe this role is vital and the enforcement of this rule is impeccable in RPUK, without RP in the server would not exist.

 
You mentioned that you believed the other party broke the rules in the situation you combat logged from. Did you make a report regarding it? 

In the above response you mention your friend sent you some GPS cords and "once arriving i instantly rammed him killing him in the process". Was you involved in the roleplay as a whole or did you show up out of nowhere and do this? 

 
Before i begin id like to thank you for your fast responses and hope all is well

Ill start with the first question, yes i did make a report regarding it but i had minimal evidence as there was no way to prove he was using discord to gain advantage and track his friends body down. However i lost motivation to pursue this report due to me getting banned myself and it was closed due to inactivity. i knew from opening this report it was a small chance of getting any outcome due to lack of proof so once i got banned i just gave up.

Moving on to the question regarding the situation with the man trying to set me up. Once again i will explain this part in further detail and apologies for missing this part out on my previous explanation. So the man that i rammed was a friend of a person i had scammed and was trying to set me up with his friends so that they could get revenge. I knew this because the night before this plot to kill me materialised i got a phone call off the guy i scammed saying ( not exact words but rough quotes) " my boys will hunt you down and we will kill you" and "when they wake up tomorrow we are coming for you".

On the next morning i lost alot of money in the casino, and to fill this hole in my wallet i decided to advertise my oracle up on tweedle, to this ad i included my phone number in the post. i heard nothing for a while until i received messages from a number i recognised (but just ignored it for the time being) unusually eager to purchase my car. This raised the first red flag to me so i carried on chatting, he showed no form of actual interest, not discussing price at all so i arranged a phone call with him. On this phone call i recognised his voice and made him aware of this, but i really needed the money so i took my chances. 

I asked him to send me a photo of my self as after a discussion with my friend he said he knows the number and they are a small group of people known for crime. he sent back a photo after about 10 minutes in clothes that had obviously been thrown on quickly at the clothes shop, i then forwarded the pic to my friend and he said he had the exact jewellery on as he last saw him.

All of this then aligned and it was just clear as day he was attempting to set me up, so i came up with a plan to make their plan backfire. i was in the casino gambling a little money and i decided to make him meet me alone at a car park just up the road. I waited a unusual amount of time for him to come, giving him multiple calls to which he picked up after a few buzzes with a wierd response like "yeh yeh im on my way" despite saying this for about 10 mins. Eventually he rang saying he was at the spot, i watched from after at him making no movements at all not even to a radio.

Finally, after all the obvious evidence he gave to me and my friends validation that this man was dangerous i took it in my own hands and drove at him full speed to kill him. YES i know it can be argued i could of interrogated him or something but i was solo, my friend didn't want to get involved and only did because i begged him to help me get his body in his car so i wanted it done fast without his boys jumping from around a corner and instantly turning the power back on me.

I've had a look into some of your previous bans and warnings. You received a warning on June 8th to where a staff member talked to yourself about combat logging at the time. Since having that conversation and knowing what would happen indeed you did it again. 

Reason I bring this up is due to it showing a pattern emerging. If we have tried to guide yourself in the correct way and you have failed to do so, How can we be sure that you will follow the rules set out this time? 

 
I understand that, I remember that situation and I can explain that however I do admit my action then we’re not acceptable. 
back during the situation you have mentions I had not sorted my graphics settings out and therefore I had problems with my game rendering in the map.

Out of rough memory i got into a police chase and someone ended up stealing the police car I was being held in, this person then drove off. As we drove away from the police the map started dissapearing and eventually the car and driver too, I made the driver aware of this and told him in roleplay terms I had to restart to carry on any role play that would take place if we were stopped by police. 
i then restarted my game and logged back in straight away but it spawned me in outside the car and the police had arrived. This was a clearly one awkward situation but I tried my best to continue the role play and to which I did successfully.

Yes I do understand and was made aware by staff I should of used OOC to notify police I was having to restart in order to fix my game.

Finally I’d like to finish by saying during my time away from RPUK I’ve gained a new mindset and I feel 100% ready to come back with a more strict role play mind after clearly not having the most sensible actions, these I really regret.

 
Indeed they we're not acceptable overall, However you do know this as you've mentioned. Moving forward I am willing to give you another chance to return and prove yourself based on how the appeal has been going. As you mentioned above you have a different mindset and plan to act differently within situations, I do hope this is the case and you do prove yourself with the chance we are providing. 

When you do return on Brian you will still be downed, So you will need to continue this roleplay. If you are saved or respawn is up to yourself however you will need to finish this off moving forth. In relation to returning I believe it does go without saying but if you do find yourself back here then you will find it harder to get another opportunity to return, More so if you break the same rule again. Don't let me down and I hope not to see you return to the appeals section.
