In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Not going to waste your time here and im not going to lie. I recall not fearing my life in a RP situation a while back, its a vague memory but prior to making this appeal i have freshened myself up on this case of me being banned.

Why should we unban you ?: Now I'll start with im not asking for sympathy here and i do agree i shouldn't of been playing with the mindset i had around that time of the incident. Around the time of the incident i was not in a good space i was failing my A-levels due to my bad mental health and my girlfriend of 2 years had just left me, i was completely drained and using RPUK as my escape even on my worst days.

This now looking back on it was a silly idea as not only was my RP declining due to my effort to do anything decreasing but it just dug me in a deeper hole by playing too much games, I now have a job and lifes better so i know how stupid i was to use it as my escape. The day that i broke the rule i remember just being drained i used to fall asleep in my chair trying to play and stuff and lost all my money in the casino around the time too, So i wanted to sell drugs in game to get the money back and just as i was making profit some randoms targeted me for no reason and kidnapped me. It just tipped my over the edge and my RP was poor i tried entertaining them so they would mabyes find a funny side and not take my stuff but they didnt.


Im asking for another chance guys and im well aware of my previous bans, however ive never broke the same rule twice and i do believe with the head space im in now i wont commit another one. I am just a person who always needs a little extra time than others to learn little pieces of information. I can promise it wont happen again. I love RPUK and the community it holds and im deeply sorry i let my actions negatively affect the reputation of such a good city.

I decided to take such a long break between my ban and this appeal because i knew i needed to take a step back from PC and sort myself out, my steam account shows ive been completely inactive for months. I believe i am ready to return to upkeeping a great PR character now.

Finally if i were to come back to RPUK i would continue with my ambition to become a solicitor, of which i was accepted just before i was banned.

@Mxtty1011Whilst I do sympathise with your circumstances, it seems that you have found yourself on the unban appeals once again!

I have a few questions (to be answered in detail):

Which rule did you break? (please state the rule and explain to me in your own words what this rule is)

Do you feel that by coming back to the server/community is the right choice considering the complex issues you have/had going on?

What are your plans, if you come back? (You have stated you wanted to be a solicitor, do you have a story or style you would undertake?)

I would also like to make your aware that people do not need to have a reason to rob someone we just ask that it is done with great RP.

I will take you back to the report placed on you, you had a shotgun to your head and you did not comply as you did not want to lose your items and like wise you did not want the other to profit. This does not sound like someone who wants to RP but is here to WIN.

Dear Smurphy,

Before i answer your requests id like to start with thank you for your fast response and time  .

I broke the G 2.4 rule in this situation, plane and simple i cant argue this. The rule is in place to enforce that players value their life at all times in the city, meaning if your life is clearly in danger with no realistic way out of the situation, for example surrounded by like 5 people (my situation), you must roleplay a surrender and value your life meaning give them what they want and do what they say.

Yes, i took a long break away from games after the ban i believe the ban was a push to sort myself out due to it was all i was doing, and i went and took on a full time job and started the gym. Now returning from my break i feel super ready and eager to start up a healthier experience on the city with the community i love and have loved for well over a year. And i completely understand that RPUK is not only a server but a business, and having players who break rules need to be removed as it can give the server a bad rep, but i believe im a completely different person now.

This moves me onto what would i do if i were to come back, well i would pursue my ambition to become a solicitor in the city. Due to enjoying law at A-level i would love to take my knowledge into the RPUK solicitor scene. The style of solicitor i dont know yet, i love creating a character as i go along allowing different influences hinder my actions and style of character and have done this in the past in the city.

Next, Id like to state i am aware you dont have a reason to rob someone, me and my friend used to do it loads with my blacked out van and a pistol which was one of my funniest experiences on RPUK i have ever had. Sorry that i stated it to seem that was, i have read the rules of RPUK countless times.  

I believe u wrapped it up perfectly for me with your statement that " i was playing to win, NOT to RP" which i cant fault, i lost motivation to play properly and only cared about the digits in my bank at the time and fully regret this however at the time i couldn't see the problem and what i was getting myself into, ESPECIALLY after already coming off my second ban appeal. Bringing me to saying thank you very much for listening to my situation and appeal, alough ive already made mistakes you still listen to me and i love that, once again thank you.

Finally what will and has changed in order to make sure this does not happen again is that i have taken my time to make sure im in a good headspace before making this appeal, if i were to ever find myself slipping back into a bad period i would instantly take a step back from games as it just made things worse last time.

@Mxtty1011I am happy that you have understood the errors that you have displayed on the server and you are now aware of these rules. It is of my opinion that you are aware of these rules as you are able to state them and then explain them, so from here on out it would be fair to say that you should not be breaking them or any of the other rules we have here. I will remind you of the rules page and direct you to them and you must consider yourself and others when RPing as this is an RP server, its about everyone having fun and not just that quick and easy win.

That been said you will be unbanned and welcome back to the server, but take this as your last warning as it will not be as easy next time to come back, consider this a chance to prove you want to RP and enjoy the server.
