Why should we unban you ?: Firstly, I would like to apologise to the individuals involved in the situation and I know that I done wrong. I hate to see myself back in this part of the forums and I am going to do my best to prove to you staff why I should be unbanned. A quick rundown on the situation, after being downed I was checked into pillbox. Whilst being in there, a lot of people were running around, shouting, screaming, mouthing off to people etc.

As you can see in the initial report, the guys friend was going round to different people in the beds and purposely winding people up for no reason. He then approached me and done the same thing. When this started I was close to being done inside pillbox and got up, I then in an act of poor judgement decided to pull out a sawn off shotgun and shoot the person and his friend. I don't know what got to me in this situation, and it was honestly very out of character for me to do something like this. I know the rules, I have read the rules, and always do my best to follow them. I was last banned in November and have a kept a clean record since being unbanned, nor have I even been reported in this timeframe since this recent report. Although this doesn't justify anything, I just want to show that I am always wanting to improve and hope you can see this too.

I have taken some time away since being unbanned to look back on the situation, and have reflected on my actions. I know what I done wrong in this situation, and hold my hands up knowing it was very poor from me. I had just been revived from pillbox and should've carried on roleplaying my injuries like stated in the g4.5 rule, and also not entered into a combat situation as they didn't force me into one either. In conclusion, I made a mistake and I fully own up to that and know it was stupid thing to do. I very much enjoy playing this server and always want to provide excellent roleplay to the community. It was a lapse in judgement and I can only apologise for my actions. If given another chance I want to prove to staff that I can do better, will do better, and always want to improve in any way that I can. We are here to have fun and provide top tier roleplay for each other, I aim to do that and I can assure you a stupid moment like this from me will never happen again. As always, thank you to the staff team for taking the time to read this appeal.

Why did you do this? As a long standing member of the community i'd expect you to be familiar with the rules, which you claim to be yet you made the conscious choice to break this rule.

Hi Siren, thank you for the reply. To be perfectly honest with you, it was just a stupid decision and I wasn't thinking straight. I was already a bit frustrated whilst in pillbox and when these people were going round just purposely being a nuisance to everyone and anyone, I then decided to do what I did. I regretted my actions pretty much straight away and knew I did wrong, it was just a heat of the moment thing and something that I would never usually do. As you said, I am a long standing member of the community and would never intentionally do something this stupid to jeopardise my time here. Unfortunately, a lapse in judgement has brought me here and I am very disappointed in myself.  Going forward I will not let a minor inconvenience like this get the better of me, which ultimately lead me to break a rule. I always want to provide people with good roleplay, have a laugh, and just genuinely have a good and fun time. I want that to continue and would really appreciate another chance to show that I can keep my word and continue being part of this community. Again, thank you for your time.

Okay, If I give you another chance, and another situation like the one you were banned for occurs again, how would you deal with it differently next time?

 
Hi Siren, thank you again for the reply. If a situation like the one i was just banned for occurs again, I would try not to involve myself and roleplay my injuries out according to g4.5, if i were forced into the situation i would do my best to deescalate the situation and deal with it later when my character is healthy. Again thank you for your time.

 
Hi Siren, thank you for the reply. The rule i broke is:

(G4.5) When you have been revived:

  • You have been given medical treatment and must continue to roleplay your injuries with the medical treatment in mind.
  • When you are being treated by a medic, you must be mindful that you have just been injured and you must not just run off after you have been revived unless there is a strong roleplay reason to do so.
  • Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.
  • Due to your injuries, you must not enter any combat situation until at least 15 minutes have passed, unless an aggressor forces you into combat, in which case you must still roleplay your injuries.
  • Due to your injuries, you must not re-enter the combat situation that caused you to be downed, unless an aggressor forces you into combat. Deliberately placing yourself in a position that would re-enter you into that combat situation is not allowed.

This is a rule on the server because:

In short, it means people coming straight out of hospital should still continue to roleplay their injuries as just like in real life, coming out of hospital still does not mean you are fully recovered. Again, like in real life when leaving hospital you need to rest, so that is also why the 15 minute timer is there in the rule too. 

It is on the server to add realism, and to also make sure people roleplay their injuries and don’t make hospital a warzone. It would be carnage if people were to get straight out of a hospital bed and start fighting again instantly. It’s also there so people don’t return to fights that are still ongoing, as this would be an unfair advantage and be like hoards of players going into an ongoing fight. Thank you for your time

Okay you seem to understand why you were banned and why the rule is in place on the server. I will be giving you another chance today.

Any rule breaks within the next 6 months will lead you straight back here to the unban appeals section.
