Server: GTA RP Character Name: Leeross Gebbie Steam ID: 76561199013417929 Ban ID (just the numbers): 17593 Ban Reason: Rule C2.3 Why do you think you were banned: banned for combat logging after relogging and still flying out Why should we unban you: Sorry for the lack of effort in my last appeal I was just a little bit confused on what to say as I was not aware that what I had done would still fall under the C2.3 rule.
When I was unbanned I had logged onto the server and was still dead from the situation I was involved in which lead up to my previous C2.3 ban and as I was late for work I turned of my PC and didn't think anything of it.
Considering the amount of time I have been away from the server I did not realise at the time that logging out whilst dead was against the C2.3 rule and that you couldn't leave whilst dead even if you was not involved in a scene I have re read the rules and realised that this is plain as day a break of the C2.3 rule and is a valid ban.
As I have been dealing with a lot of IRL stuff I have not had the time to hop on my pc but recently I've been wanting to comeback to fivem and when trying to load onto RPUK thinking I would be unbanned I was met with another C2.3 ban, I genuinely thought that this was a mistake by the staff team and I was infact not unbanned from my last C2.3 ban so when being told that this wasn't a mistake I was really confused and didn't really have alot to say.
I'm very sorry that this has happened and I'm sorry that I wasted the second chance Isak gave me for my last appeal I just didn't really think about it and didn't put effort into it but I have had time to read the rules and understand more about why I am banned all i can say is sorry and hope you understand that this is a misunderstanding on the C2.3 rule on my behalf and will not happen again.

What I don't get is that you were unbanned 20/06/2025 12:22 and then got yourself banned for the same rule break 20/06/2025 15:48, why go through that whole appeal to then do it again? Then on top of that you then bump this appeal? All of this does not fill me with confidence that you will stick to the rules if you were given another chance.
So can you tell me why I was use my free time to entertain this when I feel like you're going to do the same thing again?
Hello Jessie thanks for the response. I am extremely sorry about the bumping it was a very idiotic choice to make especially in a ban appeal ill take 100% responsibility and admit I was eager for a response as I would like to continue my journey within RPUK. As for the dates you have provided I believe it was 2024 this happened not 2025 at least this is what it says on my ban when trying to load into the server and on my previous appeals, I can also provide the ban message I receive when loading in if needed. To answer the question of "why go through that whole appeal to then do it again?" I did not have the intention of logging onto the server to just break the same rule I understand from a staff members perspective it seems this way but hand on heart my understanding of the C2.3 (at the time of the ban) was not correct which lead to me breaking a rule unknowingly. Now this is still not a good enough excuse as to why I logged out whilst dead I still broke a rule even if it was not on purpose you still have to take responsibility for your actions and I am sorry that I broke this rule, since making this appeal I have took the time to re read the C2.3 rule and given a chance to come back to RPUK I promise you will not see this from me again. I completely understand the lack of confidence of letting me back into the server if I was in your shoes I would most probably feel the same way especially after me bumping my appeal but even after being banned since 2024 and previously before that I was banned in 2022 but I am still here trying to appeal my ban because I genuinely want to comeback to RPUK and I hope seeing the amount of effort and time I'm putting into this appeal shows that I do care about this server and want to return with good intentions.
You are correct, I did get that bit wrong, I am sorry about that. I am still going to point out that you were unbanned for something and then the same day you got yourself banned again for the same rule.
Something is telling me you have a hard time understanding this rule so I will ask you this, What do you think this rule is for?
It is true my understanding of this rule was very wrong which did play a big part as to why I broke the rule so fast after being unbanned. Since making this appeal I have took the time to re read this rule specifically and some other common rules to refresh myself just so this doesn't happen again.
I believe the combat log rule is in place to stop people from being able to exploit the base game mechanics to save them self from in city consequences.
Like I stated above I believe the combat log rule is in place to stop people from being able to exploit the base game mechanics of f8 quitting to save them self from in city consequences it is also in place to ensure high quality rp and keep good standards for the server.
Combat logging can effect the outcome of a scene and effect the quality of roleplay within the server.
If I was put into this situation again I would immediately contact staff and explain why I had to leave whilst dead or alternatively wait the timer out respawn then leave.
Call me crazy but I will give you one last chance with this rule, if you break this rule again then you will not be welcome back as you are just showing that you are not learning from this and wasting our time. Please read the rules over again before joining so you do not end up back here.
