So I have added a poll to this thread just out of sheer interest on what the community votes if the best war film out of the following:

Obviously feel free to mention anymore it is just I have recently re-watched the 5 above and couldn't decide which was my favourite!

MA BOIIIIIII'S! I would have voted Saving Pvt. Ryan however, didn't want to vote on my own poll. 

And I thought The Man in the High Castle wasn't pretty relevant around the theme of War therefore decided to include it but you're right it isn't a war film itself.
