Whitelisted Faction?

@Jamie

The Police getting MAR-10s now just completely unbalances warfare. It is very rare for Rebels to get ahold of one, yet the Police Command/ AR can just whip one out and use it 1.7-2km away, and the only way to combat that is to have a MAR-10 of your own
That is not right. 1 of the OG guys sniped a Mar-10 Bench sok he died 😄

SGTs get MXs...
When the Threat level is critical, they're allowed to ask an INS+ To give them an MX, otherwise they have the MXC or Spar 16, hardly amazing when up against MK1's and MXM's.

They Get MXC's With no Suppressors or Scope higher than an RCO. Inspectors get MX's.....

I'm a Chief Inspector in the police - I know what they get.
Thing is rebels have to buy their gear & re arm every time they die whereas the police can just go grab another gun for nothing and then go back out on patrol. (Don’t use the reply money is nothing)

police often outnumber rebels too as well as the multiple ar units that get called whenever u have an issue and the rebels involved have More than a 5.56

There's an old saying "If you can't afford to lose it.... " but ignoring the money aspect:

Police often outnumber small rebel groups, there's a shocker. Probably because the extent of weaponry is unknown but is expected to be superior. Here's the thing, the police are mostly a reactionary force, except for specialist operations where they pro-actively take the fight, but that's intel based after a time of gathering said intel.

In order to overcome a reactionary force, you first need to anticipate that reaction, tldr; get more people. Or get enough people to react to that reactionary force, it's not hard to see what tactics the police use, make contingency plans for their regulation tactics and drills.

No one will ever be happy with the  "us vs them" mentality, but those that play the game (in every aspect of the phrase) instead of playing forum politics will always end up on top and probably enjoy their time much more.

Personally I don’t think there is a need to introduce another combat faction until there is an increase in rebel activity.

There is no need to worry about a MAR10, one per server is hardly going to change the police force. As I was chatting to ponty the other day in kavala pd it scares people more than anything else, it takes the right person(or combination of people) to use it effectively. It also worth thinking about situations the police respond to that this would generally be used, Banks/RBA/AR Cache. At all these situations the police are effectively attacking while rebels are defending, such a weapon has much greater effect when defending and it can be set up in a decent position with good cover and a variety of angles. I’m not saying it’s ineffective when attacking, just that rebels are still at an advantage.

Also bare in mind that we as rebels still have zafirs, mk200s and ASPs for when they get close, amongst the standard 7.62s or 6.5s...

It all seems fair to me, we can get whatever we can afford, and money is easy to come by... Since rejoining to form OG with Vlad, Nimmern and co I’ve done 2 uranium runs, and gone from 20ish mil to over 100mil. Teamwork and communication is better than any weapon, learn to work with the people you play with and play to everyone’s strengths. Adding a new faction won’t solve any problems you’re having with the police, only perhaps to distract them... But then there will be a rebel gang there to relieve you of your assets.

Rare? go do a AR cache m8, MAR 10s for days

I DO NOT want to sound rude here but the argument is just... weak.

Police most of the time use 55.6 weapons like the MK20C - MK20 - Spar 16. Rebels always use the 6.5 MX - MXM,s and obviously the 7.62 - MK14 - MK18 - MK1. I would say the Rebels arsenal of weapons is a lot better, you have so much more of a verity. To add Police only get such weaponry after going through training by being in a specialised unit, and that is a clear restriction already, you lot get to just go to the shop and buy it without said training. Police also have to be patrolling with said unit to even use the gear or they are restricted to what the rank of the person has access to.

I am not even going to go in detail about the MAR 10 issue, but lets just say Police are ridiculously restricted whilst using one.

I do apologies if I missed the point of the suggestion but that is just my opinion.

not really much of a fair fight to say the Police now get access to MAR-10s.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

We can have ONE mar-10 out at any time during AN OPERATION ONLY

There are 4 AR members who can use it, and there are strict rules for the way it must be used.

Bear in mind rebels can use as many MAR-10's as they have, with no restriction.

You can combat a MAR-10 pretty easily, and due to its loud noise and the way it must be used it is very easy to find the man behind it.

I am confused. I thought this thread was for suggesting new white-listed factions. Why are people talking about guns and who gets what?

That's what I thought tbh Danish
You are the one who started talking about guns, and how it is now unfair for rebels ????
