Tried to post this in the police complaints but I cannot reply to the topic. I appoligize in advance if I have posted this into the wrong section.

So my character Joe Joyce was on a bike and was seen handshaking by the police, I tried to flee but eventually my bike started to smoke and I had to flee on foot. I never hit any of the officers, just ran away from them, never threatened them either. When I was running through alley ways I ran into the officers chasing me and he just started punching me. Ive played on my Joyce character now for quite awhile and never been arrested via this method, I just think its a very powerful way to go about arresting someone over drugs when they are yet to prove im selling drugs. Never said he was going for cuffs, was escorting me before I was fully in cuffs. I would totally understand the punching if i had attacked them or had a gun even.

Is this what good cop rp is and im just being a bitch?

The cop was nice enough to send me his footage because i had told him in discord I wanted an admins opinion on the situation and I had no recording from my side.

P.S Honda CBR and most imports like the Subaru WRX & Audi R8 fully maxed cant even out run the most police cars, please nerf them or give crims Nos. City cars are better and it should be the other way around.

Fist is a use of force that police follow police normally go right for the taser but, in alot of cases its a miss use of force to just go for taser. It's one of them where it just makes more sense to tackle/punch someone because in game u can't grapple people like u can irl so its the best alternative.  Plus The batton deals too much damage to use all the time.

And the unit u was dealing with in the clip was RPU which have really fast cars because its there job to chase people there faster then normal cars yes but there are still alot of cars and bikes that out run them. Plus police are locked behind needing promission to do most things basically they can only follow u unless u drive like a mad man and the DRA gets high say u ram a car or hurt someone.

Sounds like you need to RP more. because ive definitely lost crims to them using NOS.

Idk where you learnt most. But Traffic sre the only ones who can keep up most the time. and the faster the police car the worse the handling. Sounds more like a skill issue.

You are literally resisting arrest by running. He done it to detain you for a purpose of a stop and search. You running makes thr ods in his favour for any court issue. Thus he can use force to stop you. Most other crims prefer this new technique rather than us instantly pulling tasers.

I am head of the department thar deals with roleplay complaints in the lsps and you don't appear to have made a formal in rp complaint as such it cannot be dealt with.

This was all covered in a liason room and as clarified last night, if there is an issue a report should be created for whatever rule you believe I have breached. 

As we did state though this is an in RP issue really so should be dealt with there but now this is posted here that opportunity is ceased.

Ive just never seen cop roleplay done like this and wanted an admin to look over it and tell me if this is the right way to go about arresting someone. In my opinion its not good cop roleplay to just start assalting someone who is just fleeing, been non violent and you have yet to prove they are selling drugs.

What about the tackle mechanic?T hat makes more sense rather than attempting to take the guys head clean off? Taser and then there’s this, if you have 100 strength there’s no chase at all, just basically abusing a game mechanic.

You can solve this type of stuff, if you belive it was police misconduct, in game. There is a complain system, and a unit dedicated to this,  in place exactly for cases like this.

If you want staffs' opinions on this, creating a ticket would be more appropriate, as posting on the forum will bring everyones opinions, can turn your simple question into a series of arguments back and forward and can be demotivated for the person in question.

Also @Bobinz I wanted to know how admins would react to this, but also I want to know what everyone thinks of this, Police, Criminal, NHS & Legal players.
