Is it really though? I have not once caught an officer with evidence on them and as an Ex police main, we were strongly encouraged to deposit the evidence as soon as possible. How is it fair for us to lose our guns to an NPC with no roleplay whilst when we try and roleplay with Police (Robbing, Hostage taking etc) their guns break every single time. I have not once got a firearm off an officer nor do I know anyone that has managed to get one that's not broken.-1
any police officer alone was grabbed(even from the outside of police stations) , robbed then either killed or dumped in the middle of nowhere. If that officer attempted to fight back they would get reported for NVL or shouted at in a liaison for effectively not handing over everything with no resistance.
There are already too many guns on the server, allowing police officers to be robbed again will just result in even more guns making it back onto the street. It's already possible to rob firearms that are bagged as evidence, I think that's a fair compromise.
Military Grade just means. Biggest Bulk to the lowest bidder. So yes. i would expect them to breakLet alone the military grade weapons
I mean roleplay between feds and crims didn't really get any better did it? Police still think they're invincible and gangs are hostile a good majority of the time. The two sides constantly bash heads, I don't think that allowing police to be robbed will decrease any potential rp between the two sides. It just means police aren't safe or don't have a safety blanket wrapped around them, it also means if criminals are brave enough and not smart with how they operate that they will end up with big sentences-1
The reason why the equipment breaking feature was put in place all that time ago was to avoid poor roleplay between criminals and police. It acted (and still acts) as a deterrent for criminals to rob any police officer they saw
To be honest, before Police got robbed all the time. During one shift of 4 hours you could be robbed once or twice every hour of people wanting a gun.I mean roleplay between feds and crims didn't really get any better did it? To be honest tho, as long as you don't brandish your firearm or anything police wont stop and search you just for being in a police station. Is it really though? I understand that it is frustrating getting robbed for your firearms but you must realise, we are asking for a equal chance between us losing stuff to the hospital and your guns breaking. Also remember your situational awareness, don't be confused when your pulling up to a gang turf by yourself and getting stuck up and robbed. Its like us going inside the station with guns on us.
I also get that sometimes the roleplay from criminals is not up to par with RPUK standards, feel free to place up a report if you feel as if a rule has been broken. Hostage taking should be high quality roleplay.
This I agree more with. More likely is that hospitals irl would call the police, and not just straight up nick your stuff of you.If anything i would say remove the chance of losing a gun to locals on the hospital instead of this suggestion.
