  • 8 months as a CSO, I am hoping to advance soon. :D Although I try to wait 2-8 hours each week as a minimum according to my schedule, certainly less compared to 12 hours each day compared to the first few weeks, I feel my luck is awful - I'm normally positioned underneath other new people until a restart as an awful cycle until I reconnect for a repeat of that. -_-

@Simen, I am scared to impose with this inquiry, but what is the average? 3 months or so? I mean, I've seen many members advance far from our training together to their initiation, but I presumed that was reflective of their talent/experience over my, well, hopelessness with any testing.

@ThomasCromwell well normally, do people that are very new to the community and the RP on this server I'd say it's an average of 8days. That is excluding that young recruits program ofc.

Edit: "well normally, for people that"

@Simen, immediately upon membership to this severe, I did begin the process to be fresh as a recriot completely and free from any conflict of interest! :)

Apparently, I was demoted for inactivity and that's now updated, so I'll have to redo my FTC and it's apparently been changed a lot~

My microphone awfully failed when I had an interview for my career at 2 PM! For a replacement, I've opted to invest in a condenser microphone with directional input - why not for a rich, deep voice? :)

Relaxing with my fiancee for a night of Jurassic Park! :3 RAWR! It has me yearn for the velociraptor mod for ArmA 3 developing further...

Hoping to finally complete my FTT before a month's passed to be capable of contributing to patrols actively! ^_^ I am confident that I have procedure, protocol and rules fully internalised to apply these effectively, huzzah! I'm very close to my PA and then I'll accomplish being PC as a fully qualified, competent member of the police force in Atlis!

I wish I had further time for gaming, which is my favourite activity over any obligation, but my training to become a therapist is so intensive, argh! Today, I learnt about 'psychological first-aid' - immediate emotional support for those in a disaster, very useful as an expertise in the event of a zombie apocalypse!

I'll provide therapy for...a potential fascist world leader! And absolve their negative mentality! CORRECT IT!

I am not a collaborator for evil! NO!

This is for fellow candidates to be police officers! So, as I've seen so far, becoming a police officer on Atlis Life UK has five phases, separated with time to incorporate each lesson and update the database/whitelists:

1 - Application. This determines YOUR character - compatibility with a sensitive, trusted role on the sever - and is foremost for admission!

2 - Interview. This tests YOUR potential as a future police officer from: A) Attitude, B) Basic Knowledge, C) Commitment.

3 - FTC. This is training to prepare the right mentality for patrols as a CSO, which are performed between FTC/FTT, to successfully learn all procedures required to complete the FTT.

4 - CSO Patrols. These are not mandated, but are advised at one's discretion, along with studying documentation on protocols, for internalising knowledge/experience essential to complete the FTT.

5 - FTT. This is a field test to test one's approach to a variety of scenarios, awareness of the correct procedure and appropriate application of the law: all necessary to be performed accurately for competence.

6 - PA. You lead a patrol, no simulation, with senior officers and demonstrate a competent, knowledgeable conduct to be accepted as a fully fledged police constable!

This should detail the whole process to reassure some trainees with confidence of all they must do and educate others on their progress/future! :) Study thoroughly and know each step supports the other (3>4, 4>5, 5>6)! Foremost, enjoy and anticipate - don't become disheartened or impatient, it's all imperative for brilliant roleplay ultimately!

Good luck to all my colleagues in training! ^^
