If you've been a CSO for like 2 weeks a simple pm to someone and get the thing scheduled for like the next day later takes literally 2 minutes

I constantly fail my tests as by the time I retake them, I've already forgotten all the prior knowledge. Additionally, whenever I'm waiting, I'm normally position 4 - 6 and the sever closes, resetting positions, before I am able to be tested. 
This isn't disheartening or frustrating as I have patience (which is regularly encouraged for recruits), and I am not complaining as I see people waiting a long time as well, but I am expressing: I feel highly incompetent.
@Lemmen, I was informed rather harshly that privately contacting a superior to expedite any application process may lead to either punitive measures or further delay - it's unfair to others waiting potentially. I don't want to risk any disciplinary actions, whether indirect repercussions or explicit penalties!
