I don't understand spinning the narrative to meet your beliefs. You show the picture when most of us pulled up. Yes there were a lot of police but most of them got told to leave and they did. At the end it was around 5 cars left and even you guys were able to escape afterwards. If you are trying to make a point please give full context and don't spin the narrative.

Hey - Not trying to spin the narrative, and I apologise if it came off that way, maybe i didn't do the best job at explaining, just wanted to give another example of a what i felt was a bit of a silly response considering the crime that was done - again, sorry if it comes off as if i'm trying to do that, wasn't my intention!

I think the main takeaway for the original topic of this post is; allow some leniency in regards to "paperwork" to do something. Not many people have the know-how on how to do these things, and it can be hard to get a hold of people that do. So police and G6 should allow stuff without paperwork, this is a game. Just let shit slide. People can provide good roleplay without providing pngs of fake paperwork

I can only echo what people have said, I’m not here to spin the narrative of this post, but in my opinion without the over responsiveness of the police it would allow A LOT better rp, an example of this is when we robbed the bank we got told that the lead 3 cars are only involved… literally telling 5 other members that they’re not involved in this rp situation, again in the foot chase, I was rammed dead by a police car knowing I was outnumbered 10-1, could’ve easily stopped me by holding me up with guns or eventually a shot or whatever.

Another example, robbing a bank as a group, there was 8 of us, 30+ units turn up taking high ground all around the bank, black hawk, npas, firearms, you name it, it’s there. We then get told the 3 ‘lead cars’ are the only cars involved (even though there was 8 cars) and if any of the other cars are seen to follow then any of our demands are now not in play.

Now I know about this one. This is why no one can see eye to eye because it's always exaggerated. I was the one that said to make the pursuit fair by not involving all other gang cars.

There was no one to fly blackhawk at the time so that's waffle. I was in npas and I avoided the chase as per demands instead sat at your turf. Ofc firearms are going to respond to hostage.

no one said that. they could get involved we just warned that that was terms of negotiation to prevent you guys going "No NPAS" then ram police as soon as chase starts

I think the issue is initial response, yes ok we can hope the sgt turns people away but not always does it happen or there is not one present to make that call, 9/10 once the response is there in full force there’s no going back from it, cops get sent away and do a U turn if it develops into anything further such as a chase or firefight.

What I personally would like from this and I’m hoping I’m not on my own is transparency from polcom, what action is being taken to actually deal with this other than a word in someone’s ear at a meeting, how can we reward cops for good RP who aren’t instantly shutting sits down (I don’t mean losing a sit on purpose more allowing it develop) and what is expected from the crim community to help this happen, cops can’t be cops without crims and crims can’t be crims without cops! I’m hoping this will rid of the “what’s the point nothing will change” the bossman him self said it’s a two way street!

Again massive shoutout to the cops who are actively doing this as standard, apologies if this is off subject but I feel it’s part of the whole “reward good rp” conversation, perhaps a thread could be created by one of the police seniors to allow abit of transparency?

Why have you came in with an attitude?

I got told my an officer on the ground that ‘the 3 lead cars are the only cars involved, any other car gets involved all terms are off and you will be targeted.

We have had a previous encounter with the same terms at Bobcat, and there was a cat and mouse all over the city for a good 45 minutes after, making rp enjoyable for everyone.

Not what I’m saying at all, but when there’s 30+ units & NPAS at a single bank job, whilst being told the information we had, I’m sure there are other jobs police can get on with, my opinion is that having over 30 units to that one scenario seemed overkill to me

Would you not rather overkill the response and allow a role play story to unfold? Or would you rather chuck A LOT of units on one bank job, catch the criminal and chuck them behind bars instantly, finishing the role play there and then?

maybe we can introduce a Dispatch type role to somewhat attempt to combat the over response, only time and trial/error would dictate.

dispatch "role" already exists as FIM, it's barely used and when it is it's more for people to make custom dispatches rather than to work as a dispatching system

i think the other thing is more, FIM/dispatch don't really have a way to track where people are(except looking at dispatch menu, which everyone can do) so it's a bit hard, a few years ago we did trial a "GPS" system showing every cop on the map, which almost worked, but crashed everyone on the server/vicinity i believe

something like that would be good to have back but only for cars, but that's for a actual suggestion instead somewhere else

I definetly agree that the amount of units in certain situations is 100% way too much, and that obviously police should try and find others RP scenarios to split the units. However, it also happens quite often when we try to have a few people during a small operation, and we end up getting run over or shot with barely any more words than "Fuck off", if any sometimes. I feel like this incentivates officers to stay in a large group sometimes rather than splitting up?

I believe I was the main G6 officer you was dealing with that night, and I did want to say that I was trying my best to go with the RP, but personally I deal with so many people who "are hired to do something at pharmacy" that it's just the same old same old.

Now I did really enjoy you coming back in different outfits and doing different things, and I was debating just letting you rob pharmacy, but by following the RP, I was giving you those challenges of having a written letter. Even if it just had in shitty writing "Phoenix", I would have let it continue, but besides the dress up and the letter, it didn't feel like too much effort was put into it. I understand you can be limited due to resources, but it just seemed like you were gonna keep trying over and over at midnight until people stopped showing up.

But the situation could have definitely been alot worse, I could have put you in cuffs, had police arrest you with my bodycam footage, but I decided to try and play along. I also know the hardships of being a crim, but if you want to have actual engaging RP, probably try to have more setup. And even then, say I let you rob pharmacy, then what? I leave and that's where the RP ends. Atleast I tried playing it out and allowing for it to develop more and more until I eventually had to go to bed.

What I can recommend is using a free online photo editor, or even Google docs, and just write up a fake letter with the NHS logo or something, and make a fake signature, and hopefully the officer who deals with you accepts that, cause I think that would be great thing to have. Google docs is free and simple to use, so id definitely recommend going down that route.

I completely agree with most of your points. And it wasnt a personal dig at you. I just feel if someone has spent an over a hour trying and even got a letter it could have been awarded. Idk that just my opinion everyone would have a different opinion and they are entitled to. Not everyone has the ability to have a good setup some times its go with the flow kinda think. It would have been good if no one showed up i could have carried on but decided not to. But to be honest I think I would have enjoyed it alot more if the rp was awarded. It was fun having them chanllages you set.

agree with this post 100% im on the opposite side of the coin and just made a police character, i must say i am seeing the exact type of behaviour that you have described here wich is terrible to see.
