Right now around 1.5 miles the radio cuts out and you cannot hear the other person. What I propose is to make it more gradually, for example from 1.5 to 1.6 miles you can hear white noise over the voice, from 1.6 to 1.7 you can hear only radio clicks and some white noise, from 1.7 is all cut out.
Adding some effects to symbolize that the radio is cutting out will help with managing the range and the conversations on the radio.
Pros:
- will be able to judge when someone is about to get out of radio range
- will add to the immersion in the city
