Severe FPS drop

Recently my fps has dropped severaly and can’t seem to do anything to make it improve, even dropping my graphics setting to the lowest it can go still won’t do anything and I’m constantly getting 30 or below fps when driving round, my graphics card is a Nvidia RTX 4060 ti, anyone have any suggestions

GTA5 as a whole is heavy CPU based as far as i'm aware what's your CPU?

that's your issue then, for a game this heavy and gta being gta, depending on if you play on 1080p, 2k or 4k, you want to have a 7800x3d or higher for smooth gameplay
