More padlocks you mean? And thus more reward? Or a new mechanic? What about use of a drill in place of a lock pick?

This would make drills more useful.

For the spirit of full disclosure I am an employee in a shop. 

For the record I also think the cash should NOT come from the shop owners pocket.
