I was banned because I used the prison glitch to get out of jail three times in a row.

Why should we unban you.
Honestly, I wasn't quite up with the rules - I had heard that you can glitch out of jail so I tried it. I was aware that other glitches like vehicle respawns with server resets were against the rules - just didn't think this was. Honest mistake - wont happen again - only bought Arma 3 because I heard about this server and wanted to play it - don't really want to be band from it so it definitely wont happen again. Plus - DainMK who banned me - said I was polite which I am Happy to make a small donation to the server as my way of an apology.

Glicthing out of prison. 3 times. Tried making excuses but caught out. Claims he was put in prison without just cause, but understood my duty. Very mature about the situation, so props on that.



These are the notes I have on file. Very stupid thing to do, if you're put in prison without just cause there is a proper way to handle it. BREAKING SERVER RULES IS NOT IT.
I am torn if I should consider this exploiting and deny the appeal, or allow it to continue for Fail RP which is appeal able.

I will let @DainMKdecide since he said you were mature about it.

You don't donate for an unban, you donate because you enjoy the community, the server, and want it to continue.

I understand what you have said - it was more out of fustration than actually trying to exploit the game in any sense.

In regards to the donation - this is definately not me trying to 'buy' my way out of an unban - if you feel I should be banned then that is your right to do so. It was rather to acknowledge my wrongdoing. Both admin and staff have spent their time and energy on this when im sure you have better things to do, and I feel that I should make up for that - I just felt that the best way to do this was to offer a small donation to help fund the server and all who play it a little bit longer.

It's very rare to come across someone breaking rules who doesn't either throw abuse at us for having to issue a ban, or beg with indignity for forgiveness. You understood exactly what the score was, and you dealt with it better than most people I've met under these circumstances. This is the type of attitude I wish more people here had. 

Having said that, your attempts to escape prison in this way were an unacceptable response to a potentially unjust imprisonment. There are better ways to have gone about this situation. I cannot in good faith reduce this from exploiting/glitching to Fail RP. Vaulting through prison walls is clearly not a feature, or something that can be roleplayed.

I wish I could pick and choose how I approach rule breaches/ban appeals, but to create two different standards by which I measure rule breakers would be unfair. If I were to let you off the hook because of your maturity and good attitude, I would have to go back and do the same for all the others banned under similar circumstances. As this is not an option, and equally - damaging my integrity is not an option, I am forced to deny this appeal.

I really do suggest you come back in 6 months and create a permanent unban appeal. Link this appeal, and explain your case. I would like to think it will be approved then.
