Why do you think you were banned: I was banned in November of 2023 following the banning of seaside and related individuals.
Going off of best recollection, I will explain and detail all the key events leading up to my ban, and my upgrade to a 1.6.
It was late 2023, ballas had just gotten out of a 2 month war against hustlers, and pretty much instantly started beefing grove. At this point, I had been attending at least 2 fights a day and was very quickly starting to fall out of love with the roleplay on the server. It got to an evening and i realised i needed money on my main, Enzo, and subsequently broke the rule that outlines transferring between two of your own characters.
I waited a few days until appealing my ban and then began the process. At this point, i did not inform anyone in ballas of my ban due to embarrassment and knowledge of what would happen, should they find out. After my appeal was posted, members who i will not name, began to post the appeal in general channels that were open to more than just members of the gang. And since appeals require steam ids, some members began looking through my steam and found information that i had wanted to keep to myself.
After seeing what i thought were friends, were posting in these channels, i decided to leave the ballas discord, and keep my head down and focus on my appeal.
a day or so later, i was given an invite by a close friend on the server to a discord channel. this channel was to a upcoming faction called seaside. it consisted of ex 229 members, ex hustler members, ex marabunta members who still played the server, but also those who no longer did.
after joining this server, they very quickly wanted to know what was happening with myself and ballas. i explained what happened but phrased it all completely wrong. due to my poor use of words, it ended up putting a target on a certain ballas member who i will not name. a member of the seaside discord, ron, messaged this individual along the words of 'u doxing enzo yh'.
after this, seaside members were c1.6 banned, and i followed a few hours later. my appeal for transferring items between characters was denied, and the door was shut.
Why should we unban you: Some would start with 'its been two years since...' but things like this you cant really put a timer on. It all really depends on if you are able to put the trust into me, someone who you have never met, know absolutely nothing about, and probably never will.
The aim of this appeal is to gain your trust, and show you through what i am saying that i can be a valid addition to the community, and i do have the intention to roleplay, and gain joy out of roleplaying on this server.
I could give you a whole changed man speech and how i will never ever do something like this again. and its true, i have learned to identify and weigh out the pros and cons in people that i associate with, but again, i know it would never be enough for you to believe.
I am remorseful for the way i ended my time on rpuk, and i would go to far lengths to change the outcome of what happened if i had the ability to. But that ship sailed 2 years ago.
