When resolved its okay?

When someone is reported and its a 100% sure the reported party did break the rules. But then the reporting party cancels the report.

Does staff still act on given evidence? If not why not? He still broke the rule even if he gave enough comp that the report was canceled...

Or does it depend on the sitatuation and is just at staffs discretion.

Thanks, Helix

As far as im aware, resolving is not causing any playerbans etc, unless its more serious things like whats stated under 1.x section

Ya I'm pretty sure it all depends on the severity of the rule break. Being discriminative wouldn't be resolved through compensation

A report a player is made when a player has an issue with another player which they weren't able to resolve themselves and where they want a member of the staff team to look at possible rule breaks and take any action upon the breaches of these rules. We let this to the player themselves to decide whether they want this to happen or not. So if a player cancels a report 9/10 times the report is then closed without any further action being taken. However a staff member may still make the decision depending on the severity of the rule breaks to take action but this is at the staff members discretion and rarely happens.

Hopefully this answered your question! @Hugo Helix

And sometimes a report doesn’t even need to be made for someone to get banned on behalf of another 😉

How do you mean?

Assuming you mean that when another person is seen breaking a rule? That is correct. In a report the staff member will simply look at the evidence and look at every rulebreak that is seen in the video. Does not matter if it's the person being reported, reporting or someone in his gang etc.

I meant even when no report is made.
