If you want to steal an NPCs vehicle and if it's a man just hit the car, there is a higher chance he will come out of the car and u can just steal it instead of it being locked. If it's a woman NPC u have to attempt to just open the car.

You shouldn't even use the virtual 7.1, it's bad, you will hear footsteps far better with stereo. No idea about this headset, but either you have a button on your headset where you can turn it on, or check the screenshot, or maybe you need to download some sennheiser software. Btw, next time...
