Please don't keep throwing shade lad thus will gain you no medals either. I'm not after fighting feds hence the thread for firearms to reign it in some! That's simply what we're asking for. Firearms to chill with it, tone it down if you like not for any advantage or to kill all the probies! purely so roleplay can properly commence.

Again, can you provide the clip of firearms spraying when turning up to a dispatch? We need to see that this has actually happened. Because if it has, this does need addressing as it's not conduct at all. If we can see it from what you saw, changes can be made and we can see exactly what you're speaking about (we weren't there)

Unfortunately yes, threads identical to these come up every few months unfortunately rather than constructive debates I am getting told I am sucking up for a promotion or have my responses egg planted….

Maybe this would come better from another party less targeting firearms and more focused on a balanced solution.

Do you have any video? I have been in this community long enough to know there is 2 sides to every story. I am not saying g you are lying I just know there is more than likely context missing.

I have been trying to keep up with this wall of text and did reply briefly a few pages back 😬

There seems to be a narrative being pushed which is largely based on speculation and misinformation as to how the police actually operate without any actual evidence or examples.

Armed policing strategies set out by SFC are a direct response to the level of firearms offences in the city using intelligence and arrest reports to gain a wider picture.

Group leads do also have direct access to police leads and we often reach out to one another to discuss various issues as they arise.

I think one MAJOR point most people are forgetting which hasn’t been mentioned is Wanted Level (G5.6). If you’re a known criminal with a plethora of firearms offences in the past or a member of an OCG renown for firearms offences, what kind of response should you be expecting?

If a response officer rocks up to a shop robbery and sees big Ronnie Trapps car parked outside with markers for OCGs, firearms and violence - should he still go in without firearms backup? Does that constitute NVL?

You may see a large amount of police vehicles chasing a suspect through the city and think “holy shit that seems massively disproportionate” but without the context surrounding that pursuit, you’re not in a position to make that judgement.

There’s absolutely work to be done on our side of the coin, we’re continuously pushing for better standards and professionalism however it’s a two way street. I’d love to see a server where only Trojan officers could carry sidearms and rifles locked in safes but the server and economy, in my opinion, is too far gone for that. Guns are too plenty and bank accounts are stacked. You’ve got people with a 120k+ CitID with access to automatic firearms with multi million pound supercars already 🙄 It used to take time, effort and roleplay to forge the connections and means to be able to buy those things…

Obviously with-out clip bombing the thread we're not going to have those but everyone has a "story" to tell in one way or another & plenty examples.

Its true but where do we draw the line & actually allow things to unfold because as police I'm sure you could shut a lot more situations down & piss a lot more people off if you wanted the same way you could drawn the line, both ends are expecting the same out-come atm & thats a shootout so people are already ready & prepared for that.

Appreciate you saying that as there is & it's refreshing that it can be said, I think your right crims do need to do better and stop shooting feds for little to no reason.

threads about police does not do much about new players ease of access to expensive cars and guns, but yes, proper suggestions can assist with maybe fixing that a bit 🤷‍♂️

Us making a montage has nothing to do with all the roleplay done behind the shooting. I could also post a couple police montages but it would be no point. I guess montage = no roleplay?
 
Come on guys, enough of the tit for tat. We've made some admissions on both sides that things can be better. We see where common problems arise and we can be more constructive than this. Although we had a small back and forth before. Thats absolutely fine as both sides out their sides across. But, tit for tat ain't gonna improve anything.

I think the general points this suggestion went for have been made and it's now going in circles.

I think if leads of ocg's were to be given their issues and the police/polcom were given police issues via dmail or submission, they could then arrange a discord or team speak where things can be properly discussed and arranged/put forth

Balla member here. Most of these clips in the video was police being bored and had nothing better to do by antagonizing ballas.

Example firearms setting up on our roofs on our turf and getting an officer to drive past and saying "fuck ballas" to get us to react and then firearms to have fun and mag dump us from roofs.

You talk to your arresting officer about it later on and their response is "mAkE a CoMpLaInT" yh we all know that the complaints don't get looked at in the city that's why you get the same people in police causing issues everyday with no consequences

Complaints absolutely do get looked at and are treated seriously.
 
If any of you posting here are police or crims and haven't tried playing the other side I highly recommend making another character and giving it a go.
