Revert the parking fee update

It just doesn't make sense, I have roughly 500 cars and it costs between 500-1175 per car to pull them out of a public parking right now. IDK if this is per day/storm/whatever this would average out on 825 quid per car. I would be paying over 400k daily or per storm just to have cars?

I think this update was not nessecary and I think there's better ways to implement money sinks than this. Wonder what the community thinks about this.

It adds up an amount per actual hour, so you can not play for 2 months and it'll be 54k per car to get them out, which will then reset the amount after being parked up again.

You sure on that one ? you sure it's a per hour or daily building charge ? And not just a each time you retreive it from parking charge......

I am quite sure, it counts every hour that every vehicle is in a public parking lot. I believe it's 50 or 100 quid per hour per vehicle, regardless if it's a BMX, supercar or massive fuck off truck.
 
Icl it should just be reverted, everyone is against it, These people have been in the community through thick and thin, The player count is low as is and it's just going to make more people leave.
 
Instead of abolishing it totally, why not a ammended system where some parking is free and some in optimal locations is charged. Like it is in most of the country?

Insane mental gymnastics thinking this is a good addition to the server ICL, much better options of pulling money out of the server.

54.000£?! PER vehicle?! This is legit just making me frustrated enough that i just don't even want to go into city anymore... and that sucks cause i love going into the city, but i don't want to be hit with what feels like a Fine to pull out a vehicle and see my hard earned money just burn.. I don't grind money, nor do i try to ask top money for whatever service i provide in the city, I Always make sure I am putting money into the community for fun events, now that money goes to what? pulling a car out? it's more expensive to pull a car out then to get my car repaired, it's cheaper to get pulled over by a police officer for speeding...

but what locations would be determined as optimal some say pillbox and MRPS but then that's affecting certain factions as most park there cars near there place of work
 
In my eyes, a few other ways to have gone about it,

1. Implement a legal use for paracetemol - make it so people get the flu from time to time (start coughing, then throwing up and then fainting if left untreated long enough) people buying the paracetemol helps empty their pockets at a normal rate + doesn't leave something to re-sell.
(can even make it more often when snow is around or when people have gone into water a lot)
2. Make the pier attractions usable, like the games/rides all 5k per go, make's for a fun night out and again doesn't leave something to re-sell
3. Make the parking Fee £500,- per time, no stacking, just £500 every time you pull em out. (still a normal money sink, but won't kill the fishing and flying scene)

there are multiple other ways to have money sinks and it wasnt lack of imagination but maybe asking the comunity what would they like has a money sink wouldnt be a bad idea because i am pretty sure people would come up with suggestions to it but adding something 0.0000001% of people wanted is kinda brazy

I fly in and out of the city now and again but not daily. I have around 30 cars and I dont pull everyone of them out when I do fly in. So for me 2 fly in and out of the city as I do id be paying 10k plus each time I want a car or more if its one I rarely use that and I don't have millions stashed away in my bank it just makes me not to want to even bother flying in as id have to just steal local cars to get around plus the vehicles I use on making my money I wouldn't even able to afford on gettin them out. Its like your trying to make people fly in more to make money just to use there vehicles when they do wanna pop in and say hi to old friends.
Plus half the cars i own are imports so even if i did want to cut back on some of the cars I own i couldn't even sell those vehicles too cut back on parking bills.

End of the day its gonna be a reason you will lose old members of the community.

I'm perfectly fine with bringing things more in line with irl and what I would see as more RP stuff

I just don't see issues with adding in things that you would have in the real world like fees for leaving stuff in long term parking

Or could replace the fee with car deteriorating leave the thing in a parking lot for 6 months and see how well it runs

Tbf in terms of what people can earn now a couple hundred is nothing if we were in 2021 where a taxi job paid just enough to cover the fuel you used to to the job sure then I can see a issue but people go from fresh to multi millionaires within the week couple of hundred isn't going to hurt

people come to play and enjoy themselves not have to now worry/ grind money just to be able to use their cars, L update.
