I like this idea cause it will force gangs to actually be careful about where they openly fight with people, if anything by forcing gangs to be in colors it makes groups think twice about going into the middle of the city to beef with another group and kinda pushes for a much more secretive playstyle from gangs which is how gangs should be in my opinion.
As for the people saying well "it just means police can recognize who committed the crime easier". you can still wear a mask its not like by being in colors police are going to pull up and just by association arrest everyone in a gang because a single guy was spotted alone shooting. I personally think some peoples counter arguments on here about "youre just angry you got killed by someone blacked out" dont see the irony that theyre trying to explain being blacked out is about 'roleplay' then 5 seconds later go back to talking about how you just need to 'get good' and get better at fragging

I mean it is about roleplay, this is not an american server, running flags wherever or acting like a frag server, if attacks are planned out blacked out is an essential way to go and commit a crime, everytime i've been in a combat situation whilst blacked out there's rarely been any backlash if anything some gang might cry about not warring in colours, end of the day its a serious rp server not a frag fest.

Could remove some aspects of gang rp.
Cons
- black out operations to grab someone important on the opposite side to beat up and ditch, negotiate and warn (rare these days anyhow), and torture
- removes the "OH SHT he got taken" when just hanging out with non gang affiliated friends
Positives
- stops gang people to be put into war situation when they are trying to chill out and just socialize
- and the many others stated in the original post
Cons

This post has had no activity, from either players or the staff team, since 2022. Since then, rule suggestions and discussions have moved to Discord. I’m reviewing and processing the older suggestions here so they don’t remain open indefinitely.
There are currently four suggestions open (including this one) covering the exact same topic, which highlights the repetitiveness and consistency of the issue.

If you are at beef / war with another gang, colours has to be on.
There are differences in where the rule should be applied, how it should be applied, and so on. I'll forward these suggestions to the new rules suggestions/discussion thread on Discord. It'll be difficult to encapsulate all the topics without contradiction with others, but I shall try my best. If you have any input on these rules, I urge you to read all the suggestions, form your own opinion, and respond to the discussion on Discord.
