It makes those who have little money value gear but when you have players and gangs with tonnes of money it doesn't change a thing for them.

Do you really think that making poseidon worse is gonna magicly revive rebel life, well, let me tell you, it won't, the only thing that will happen is a lot of people instead of being poseidon will join cops and the ones who decided to go to rebel life, true, might be there for a while, but then they are gonna get bored anyway or will just get annoyed with having to pay a mil and just leave the server for a different one. You can't fix rebel by making all the other options shit aswel, if you do that you just end up with all options being shit and people will start leaving the server in general because there will be no good place to be. If you want to fix rebel come up with something that will be unique to rebels, some new additions to viper maybe like more items to craft such as unique weapons like zafirs, mk200s or mar 10 along with magazines (obviously would need a bit of items), judging by what the addition of 7.62 suppressors to the factory was, i say that would help, also decrease price of rebel life, make it so rebel can get themselves involved in more things and not have to do runs afterwards. Changing runs? I say dynamic market would help with that.

Been suggested in the past but obviously the long gunfights at weapons vendors caused a lot of issues, along with hobos thinking they can just RDM there - lots of staff issues caused

however in the same way this would revive rebel life so much, and something a lot have wanted since it was changed, whether alongside or as an alternate to the current

I’m away so won’t respond to it all but for this part, all the gangs I have been I. Generally avoid it because Poseidon are generally much more on top of their major crimes. They respond faster, with much more strength, and often there is no delaying it without an RP story

Its true you lot havent got to be spread out as much you are mainly like a 3 min drive away from it as police it can take the same time but you can try get out of it with RP

Will unlike police we like to take care of our resources and with both areas being in city's, small numbers   don't work well as you can get easily picked off one by one. Also we don't have much else to do unless police come over for a gunfight. You can always rp Poseidon shit but dont come over with some half ass piece of shit the police would fall for. Got to make it worth our time to RP with you and have fun. Got to be inventive and unique.

Poseidon (or some variation of it) and police have been around forever, even through the times when rebels were abundant on the server. I wouldn’t say they are to blame for the decline to rebel life.

I believe it is the risk associated with playing rebel, particularly when you become a big gang on the server. You attract certain attentions.

One thing regarding rebel and what YoCo said is when gangs get big, there will inevitably be more gunfights, obviously more people on the map, more interactions with the group as a whole so more hostile outcomes overall, which in some cases means regular gunfights, which when happening with rebel groups gets frowned upon, whilst same thing happen in factions and it’s fine (hell they get spec units primarily for the purpose), so when you get big, issues w/ regular gunfights will occur

Pistols and PDW's should be cheaper, especially considering how cheap the armour/helmets are.

30K for a rook is just not fair, who would buy that?

As has been said many times and I am hoping this thread may lead to it. Gather the best points (heck vote on it if you want to) and sum them up in a google doc or something. Then it can be presented more easily to the devs and management who can look into it.

The endless argument about rebel vs. Poseidon is not going anywhere so focus on rebel life itself. As some have stated before UNMC back in the day was more powerful than Poseidon is or probably ever will be but we still had a thriving rebel life. Focus on what made it thrive back then for those who remember/were there, or focus on what you would think would be good for the future.

Perhaps appoint one person who can organize the points in a google doc.
